The LA TIMES had this one right!

I found this podcast by chance, by skimming through the paper. So glad to have found it. As a person who has had reason to live similarly to the hosts, albeit without the breadth of creative achievements and academic chops, it is energizing to have such astute voices represent our legion with authenticity, courage and accuracy. The Covid-19 drama may make their stories may be more widely accessible to the collective understanding, regardless, their experiences and musings on them are truly compelling. I love that it feels like I am listening in on a no-judgement, coast-to-coast phone call between two very smart, highly cultured friends. Cast-on!

Excellent discussion of these topics

Really great discussion of the topics the entire world is now facing. I appreciated the perspectives shared here, esp. given that it’s one person in NYC and the other in LA!

A nice fresh breath of reality

As someone who has spent time homebound and also a lot of time in meditation, this podcast feels like a message from my home planet. We don’t know what’s going to happen, ever, and these two talk about that reality in a vulnerable, accessible, and entertaining way. Thank you!

Wit and Chemistry

The wit and chemistry that Adam Baer and Eva Hagberg effortlessly create on this show about uncertainty makes it feel like source material for a hit streaming series. I’m hooked, whether or not we ever have to go back to the office.

Housebound? Join the club

Adam Baer has spent five years practicing what we’re all learning to do now: lead a life enclosed in our homes. We’ve got coronavirus; Adam’s had the double whammy of severe medical issues and a hillside location that keep him trapped. He’s even trapped at home—physically unable to sit in a chair. And yet he’s cheerful, philosophical, pragmatic, and funny: the voice we need to keep us calm in this bizarre and anxious moment.

interesting show, different perspective

This podcast is about issues surrounding being ‘quarantined’ by 2 people who, because of disabilities, live their lives essentially quarantined. Needless-to-say it is very timely. Their insights and experiences are interesting and offer suggestions on how to think about access, and ‘disability’, and the various blinders and biases held by so many. Keep up the good work, you guys
