Dr Dale Bredesen is internationally recognised as an expert in the mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's disease.
He is Professor of Neurology at the University of California Los Angeles. His book ‘The End Of Alzheimer's’, the first program to prevent and reverse the cognitive decline of dementia, is available now.

Join us as I ask Dr Dale:
* What actually is Alzheimer's?
* Are current dietary guidelines correct for safeguarding against Alzheimer's?
* Can Alzheimer's be preventable?
* How can you slow or reverse Alzheimer's?

Dr Bredesen will also share with us:
* His treatment program, the Bredesen Protocol.
* How inflammation can lead to Alzheimer's.
* What foods to embrace or avoid to protect yourself from Alzheimer’s.

Given the truly remarkable implications of his studies, his nature is strikingly calm - although you could sense his excitement when he said:
“We can make Alzheimer's disease a rare disease.”
“This is not old fashioned medicine - you give me a pill I go home that’s last time you hear from me - that's not the way this works. This is 21st century medicine.”
“To give people Alzheimer’s, you almost couldn't do better than the current Western lifestyle.”
“To see human beings weapon hopeless getting better for the first time it's just an absolute thrill!”
