This podcast will rock your socks off

This podcast is amazing! It helped me get back into listening to audiobooks and reading in my spare time as I used to 5 years ago. I feel better about myself doing something I love. The conversations with the girls is always funny and encouraging!

I love these women! <3

I’ve been listening at a leisurely pace for months, and I’m so sad to have finally caught up, since now I’ll have to wait for new episodes like everyone else! I love these women, I love this podcast, and have been systematically buying up all their swag! Listening to them makes you feel like you’re sitting in a room with a couple of girlfriends chatting, having a good time, and listening to great new books together, it’s loads of fun and I highly recommend this podcast to all lady listeners!

DiD yOU rEad mY mInD?!?!

I was just on a rant a little while back about needing something to keep me on my toes during my drive to work. Then low and behold, like some weird physic mind reader extraordinaire, *BOOM* Read Me Romance pops up on my newsfeed ( it’s that demonic ad tracking that listens to you all the time, I’m telling ya). I have literally never listened to a podcast before in my life, and opened this app for the very first time on my phone a couple weeks ago to try this station ( are they called stations on podcasts? *shrug*). Love at first listen I tell ya, love at first listen. I’m not sure who runs this, but Kendall Ryan, Alexa Riley, Tessa Bailey, & Teagan Hunter all being read to me on my way to work.... GIRL YESSS!!!! Where have y’all been all myLife? No matter, I have you now, and I won’t be letting you go *wink, wink*

Whew Chile! Proceed with Caution!

I have been reading romance novels since the age of 11. My parents didn’t approve, but I was also reading The Classics that my older siblings had been assigned in school so they couldn’t complain much since those books were also “too adult”. I can remember riding the bus in grammar and high school hiding the covers from little old ladies. My son recently picked up my Kindle and saw the covers of most of my books and said I should never let anyone under 65 see it! Theodora Taylor is one of my all time favorites! I have read everything that she’s written. Some I didn’t like. But the vast majority of them I absolutely love! I can read them over and over and over again. Just last night I downloaded Amber again because something I heard in passing made me want to ride it. I regularly search her name in the Kindle Bookstore. I stalk her Facebook page like a fiend. When I saw the link for Read Me Romance, I said why the heck not, give it a try. The concept is one that I’ve never encountered and I look that! The hosts had me laughing out loud for real while I was walking to the bus stop, waiting for my bus, and on the bus. I’m sure folks thought that I was a little off. And that was just listening to the ladies. I told my daughter and son-in-law about the email from the woman that was giving bj’s to her husband’s twin and his friend. The kids were grossed out. I don’t know if it was because of the cuckcolding or if it was because I was talking to them about bj’s!I throughly enjoyed yesterday’s post, Theodora Taylor Time of Her Life is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I cannot wait until Sunday when Keane drops. And I cannot wait to start catching up to the ladies from the start.

It's the best

I am new to the romance genre, and these three beautiful women make it approachable, hilarious, and fun! Tessa, Mel, and Lea feel like my friends already. They give great conversation and recommendations. Also, everyone loves a non-judgemental place to chat! I highly recommend listening.

I can no longer support this podcast

I really loved this podcast up until I found out some of the sketchy things that Alexa Riley (Lea & Mel) have done. They're known scammers who have book stuffed on Amazon, stolen plots from various authors and have been subsequently banned from Amazon. I still love that you can get free professionally narrated audiobooks but I cannot listen to this podcast anymore due to the above issues. Original Review: I love this podcast because I get to try new authors and listen to professionally narrated audiobooks in bite-size chunks. I'm not one to listen to podcasts, so when I heard about this podcast through a Skye Warren post, I knew I needed to give it a try. This podcast is a great way to read new authors and find some new favorites. I haven't had a chance to listen to all of them, but it has been fun catching up to the live airing and listening to all of the different novellas.

A break from life and the chance to get to know new authors books

I always have the best of intentions when I subscribe to podcasts. I tend to get bored quick and then forget they exists in a few weeks. I have been listening to this since the first episode! The ladies of Alexa Riley drew me in but the banter between all three has kept me coming back. I’ve had the chance to listen to books I wouldn’t have picked but fell in love with. It’s also opened my eyes to new books and authors! I am able to listen with earbuds at work and it’s a life saver. As a mom I sometimes feel like nothing is just mine. I get chicken nuggets stolen out of my hands and spoonfuls of ice cream eaten by a little mouth that’s not mine. This podcast is all for me and I appreciate it!!!

Amazing!

I’ve never been into podcasts but I’m happy that one of my favorite authors had put this podcast in the newsletter of a book she had written. I love everyone who speaks before we hear the story. They’re funny!!

Hands down! THE. BEST. PODCAST!At first I was searching for just something that was interesting to keep my attention. Well dang ladies! You got me addicted. Guilty pleasure! I listen at work and blush randomly, but it has most definitely made my days go by. I’m sure if anyone heard what I was listening to, I would be fired. But it would be worth it loll! My husband loves that I listen to these! It sparks girl, it has thrown some more sparks! Thank you! ❤️❤️

Filthy mouths.

Came to listen to romances not obnoxious ladies (I use that word loosely) talk about their trivial lives. There is one very loud, crude lady who swears like a sailor. I don’t need to hear obscenities to the extent this lady likes to throw them out. 25 minutes in and they are still yapping about their lives! Who cares? Tried two episodes; not going to try anymore.
