Sluggo reborn

Hello, I’m late to these podcasts but they are awesome. A coworker steered me to them when he saw my “All things serve the Beam” lunch bag. My only criticism is that you all need to stop apologizing for the dated language from the 60s 70s 80s. We all know it’s not you guys saying these things. Al in all keep up the great work. Thank ye Sai.

Another Classic Podcast by Duckfeed

Duckfeedtv brings another fantastic podcast. I’ve been listening to Butterfield and Ross talk about video games for over two years at this point and have enjoyed listening to them and their guests across various productions as they have held their palaver on all sorts of media and topics. As one of King’s Constant Readers, I felt ashamed for not having read any of The Dark Tower novels. After finally taking the plunge, I became fascinated with the adventures and the worlds surrounding and connecting to Roland and his ka-tet. I only wished I had a Duckfeed-esque discussion to listen to. To my surprise, I stumbled upon this after typing in a hopeful query. Ross and Co. explore the series section by section, setting aside an entire season for each volume and even tackling the many connected King works in the off-season between. As usual, the conversation is full of trivia, insightful analysis, and that geeky humor I’ve come to expect and love. If you’re looking to read the series and want a companion, experiencing it in well-paced episodic chunks with a healthy resistance to spoilers seasoned with a dash of foreshadowing, then Ross has you covered. If the Duckfeed crew are reading this, thank you for scratching this itch of mine and keep up the amazing work.

Great show

I loved the Dark Tower series, but I don’t have the time or desire to read them all again. This show is a fantastic way to re-live the series in an analytical and funny way. Great breakdowns and thoughtful opinions, but definitely a lot of laughs along the way. I really hope the Greers are mainstays in the final book! And bring Paddy back every once in awhile!

Good analysis, pleasant listening

Nice way to absorb the series without the time-sink of picking the books back up.

Accurate Description

Fun podcast, but it’s more so a bunch of friends telling pop culture jokes with Dark Tower talk peppered in.

Still great!

I've tried out just about every Duckfeed show put out, and they're all wonderful. This makes a great companion to the books they discuss!

Boy oh boy, what a conundrum.

I'll level with you, I hate this book series. Enough people I respect appreciate it for me to accept that it's probably actually good but just not for me, in fact my girlfriend also has a podcast covering this series, but I just couldn't get into it. You know what I could get in to? Kole and Gary. They're good boys.

A great listen

I'm a fan of two other podcasts the Mr. Ross does and this one is just as good as the other two. A very deep dive into the Dark Tower world. Good stuff.

Good listen

I love that they talk about the audiobooks as well as the print versions, as this was how I first experienced the series. Good companion for the Dark Tower series with jokes and bits of trivia thrown in. I didn't even know there was a revised version of the Gunslinger going into this!

Long days and pleasant nights ahead

Because they were not content with just being one of the best networks for video game podcasts, the folks at Duckfeed.tv have decided that now is the time to expand their terrain into the grand corpus of Stephen King. Join Kole Ross and a rotating band of cohosts (including but not limited to infamous Duckfeed friend Jeremy Greer, his wife Autumn, and new-comer to the series Murph Murphy) as they walk with us through King's magnum opus - and related books - The Dark Tower. We see in this podcast the same verve, the same humor, the same insight and argument Duckfeed.tv always presents in its subject, this time lovingly but not blindly directed at this grand, fantastical sequence.
