Too much about Cameron

Cameron is an interesting person, but I find that when she interviews other interesting people, she tends to direct the conversation back to herself, rather than continue with follow up questions to the interviewee. It’s not always the case, but I do find sometimes when her guests are about to make an interesting point or statement, Cameron will interject with a personal anecdote. I believe the podcast would be far better if the guests were given a bit more room to speak.

Full Circle Experience

I listen to Cameron’s podcast after intentionally choosing to focus my engagement with media exclusively through queer womxn’s lens. Cameron is an excellent, personable, humanistic and vibrant interviewer. You can feel her curiosity and excitement with her guests. It’s rare to feel that these days with only audio. She’s hilarious, kind and bold. I recommend this podcast to anyone who wants to sit back, get their queer cup filled and have a full circle experience.

Queer Connection

I’ve felt incredibly disconnected from the queer community because of Recent Life Circumstances and this podcast has been my lifeline in that regard. The way Cameron speaks to the audience is incredibly welcoming and every episode feels like sitting in on a conversation with friends. The interviews are heartfelt and sincere and tackle a wide range of topics. I find that Cameron asks questions in a very sensitive and nonintrusive manner, and she is not afraid to ask questions to clarify things that she does not know. This is absolutely a must listen podcast for everyone.

Actually the best

I’ve been listening to queery right from the start, and I’m so grateful to Cameron and everyone else who works so hard to create this podcast. I don’t know why it’s taken me so long to write a review. Finding quality queer content can be difficult, and I applaud Cameron for putting out episodes that are both truly entertaining, and intelligent and thoughtful. I especially appreciate the diversity of the guests on the show. Cameron has such a strong awareness of privilege and how race, gender identity, sexuality, body size, physical ability, etc. impact queer folks and their ability to move through the world in a safe and supported way. It’s super refreshing to have easy access to intersectionally inclusive queer content that’s also funny and thought provoking. Thanks, Cam!

Cameron Esposito does such an amazing job exposing the truth both good and bad of the queer experience. Her guests are big names with real stories and always eloquently speak their stories. Do yourself a favor and listen.

I just finished listening to all the past episodes (just over 100 of them so far). I'm really grateful for this podcast. I hear so many voices and perspectives that I don't anywhere else. Thank you.

Much needed conversations

I've listened to every single episode because I can't get enough of hearing stories from the queer community. Growing up in a hetero-normative society I never had the chance to hear these beautiful, diverse experiences of how people's lives can be. It is also so validating to hear stories that I can relate to so easily but felt so alone in. Thank you Cameron for getting these stories out there!

Great guests, narcissistic host

These guests are amazing people i love to hear talk, but somehow no matter how personal, heartfelt, and intense the story or experience the host seems to make it about her. It does not feel like she has much curiosity about the unique experiences of others or much ability to deeply listen and ask incisive questions. She just whips out some anecdote about a personal experience in her life that is very loosely connected to what the guest is talking about and interrupts them with it. It’s just always about her.

Thank you

Facilitating these conversations is such a gift to the queer community. I am so, so grateful to see our people being successful and hearing how they are changing the world and building more space for us to thrive. It’s a huge lesson in empathy and love for one another. So again, thank you.

Gives me life

I love this podcast. Never ceases to make me feel a little less lonely in this wild world. I love Cam and would recommend literally all of her material. I grew up as a baby queer watching her progress in fame from her “ask a lesbian” series to her tv show to PYHT to Queery etc.
