I have a question

Would you say that suicidal people are lookin for a REASON to live, to keep fighting? If so can you guys go more into detail about what could be the possible triggers and how to help someone who is currently facing a tough situation and are looking for an escape?

So interesting!

I loved listening to this podcast. I wish I could have Dr. Bailey as a teacher. He has so many interesting anecdotes, and you could just sense his kindness and eagerness to teach. I listened just for fun, but now I feel extra prepared for the abnormal psych class I’m taking next semester :)

Inappropriate laughter

He does an excellent job going over the subjects but the thing that truly became bothersome was the one student with the constant inappropriate laughter. I wish she had been scrubbed out because it really takes your mind from focusing on the subject manner to her obnoxious laughter.

Get to the point and stop talking about your selves

I thought this was about borderline personality disorder. This speaker been a great deal of time talking about themselves and their nausea (who cares?) Andy going through news articles. Not what I expected at all and a complete waste of time.

Dr. Bailey is an awesome speaker

Dr. Bailey is a wonderful lecture speaker in abnormal psychology. He uses simple examples which we may encounter in daily environment to help listeners to understand the concept of each disorder and to still keep us staying seeing a person as a person instead of just the disorder.Thank you, Dr. Bailey for filling out my travel time in daily work with informative and interesting lectures.

Psych Nursing Student

Very good lecture series, downloaded all, to add to, supplement prior to my psych nursing lectures. The mood disorders bipolar was a very good lecture. I have played your mania example to a few classmates. I found it interesting to get insight of your work with the jail. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and for all your dedication to the patients that you have encountered.
