Is this a rip-off?

Pod4Ham doesn’t show the date that the episode dropped. If the first episode is after June 19th it is a rip-off. This may be a rip-off of Hamilton the podcast

Mixtape?

They do a great job analyzing the details of the songs, though I wish they had a musician or two to really delve into the composition and music rather than just the lyrics. They mention things that happen onstage during them at a level which is helpful for those who haven't seen the show, not so much that they're just describing what it looks like, but just when there are actions that add to the meaning of the songs.Any plans to get back together and discuss the mixtape? Even just the demo tracks? I'd love to hear your thoughts on Congratulations!

Fun times

I enjoy listening to different people talk about the songs from Hamilton. Not sure what I'll do when they finish the original cast album.

Love all the historical background info

As a Hamilton lover this is the perfect podcast for me. The hosts have been fantastic to listen to about their experiences with the music and also the amount of information they bring to the table about lots of this history and even more than we learn from the show adds an entire other layer of understanding with the show. Can't wait for Act 2

You'll love this podcast if . . . .

This sounded like a great idea for a podcast and you should love if . . . . . . you love to hear a group of hip-folks impressed upon you how they've been into the musical, book, soundtrack, etc longer than you.. . . you need entitled middle-aged, college-educated people explain how much they appreciate hip-hop.. . . you love podcasts in which the presenters spin every topic into a discussion of themselves.I listened to two episodes and decided to try Hamilton the Podcast instead. Yes, those presenters giggle more than I prefer but they seem like genuine people and they focus on the content and provide so much more insight than these panels.

Mediocre Discussion at Best

I wish the participants would spend some time doing more research on the process of the show before commenting on the music. Quite a few episodes offer insight into why songs and moments were written a certain way that are fundamentally incorrect - and easily checked with some simple research. I came to this podcast hoping to learn as much about the show, Lin's writing, and the historical movement the show has become, and I find myself skipping episodes because I already know the info or I can find factual info somewhere else. Not a good podcast for anyone remotely obsessed with the show. Maybe a great podcast for those interested in music theory and musical theater structure. It's not for me.

Bringing the level of detail Hamilton fanatics are looking for.

As much as my jealousy for not being on the panel wants to take over, I must admit this is a great way to walk through the phenomenon that is Hamilton. The rotating panel provides a lot of different perspective, and can give you a good fix if you're like me and have no possiblity of seeing Hamilton in person anytime soon.

Best of the Hamilton Podcasts!

I've sampled several and I think this is the best at analysis and background on the musical's music. They are knowledgable and serious without the laughing/giggling/bad language/off-on-a-tangent that I find annoying. Thank you!
