Great mix of science and sport

This podcast gets some really interesting guests with a tremendous amount of insight on how sport and science have such a symbiotic relationship.

Hard to listen to....

Is Chuck Nice ever gonna let an expert finish a sentence? Please stop pushing this through to the Star Talk feed. ICYMI? I missed it for reason.

“Playing with Facts”

I think this show has quite a bit of potential but comes up short time and time again. For every really good podcast, there’s 4 that are not. Quite often the “experts” they bring in are not factually correct and in some cases say very misleading claims. I’m not sure who produces this show but they are not good at it. I do like the hosts.

Poor Producing

I’m not sure who the actual producer is, but this is the worst produced Star Talk Show. You can hear the host breathing and they talk over each other constantly. This all takes away from the show so much, that it’s hard to listen to.Good topics, very poor production.

very interesting but don't forget to describe what's going on

I love StarTalk but this just seems to force sports and science together.Although I believe they can go together, and the host are very fine people, drop the subject and stop injecting it into StarTalk episodes.

Could be better

Neil deGrasse Tyson, Gary O'Reilly, and guests provide very in-depth & informative breakdowns of sports physicis and physiology. However, Chuck Nice regularly interrupts and interjects unecessary, childish banter (regularly a bad, played-out joke about President Trump) that really detracts from the show. Eliminating Mr. Nice from the show would greatly enhance the show and put it more in line with its primary purpose.

Funny, Entertaining AND Educational

These two are the best! The hosts have great chemistry, always manage to keep the shows interesting and get great interviews. I’ll be honest - I’m one of those strange people who have never had any real interest in sports and because of that I was hesitant to subscribe to a podcast that focuses on sports, but boy am I glad I did! The hosts do a great job making it enjoyable for anyone, whether you like sports or not. I also have to mention that this should be required listening for all sports governing councils - Chuck’s suggestions for “improvements” to the sports are pure gold and should all be implemented immediately!

Dull and uninformed

A solid idea executed poorly. Neither host knows enough or has prepared enough to ask thoughtful or revealing questions. Many of the guests don't have that level of knowledge either. And when there is a good guest, the hosts constantly interrupt or cut off him/her and prevent the discussion from getting into the deeper issues. So the result is a very superficial treatment and a lot of forced attempts at juvenile humor. I love Chuck Nice, but this project isn't working.
