Fun and Informative!
I have been listening to podcasts since you did it via an iPod or rss. I'm always on the lookout for new ones when the old ones loose a host or just repeat themselves. I found Paranormal Karen when she was a guest on Beyond the Darkness talking about her psychic dog, Courage, and I found BTD when Dave Schrader appeared on Psychic Teachers. I still love Dave's shows (I subscribe to Midnight in tht Desert and True Crime Tuesday), so it's fun to hear him guest on this one. I hope Courage is a guest soon. I really enjoy hearing what he has to say.Karen has a good mix of guests, and I REALLY love it when her sister or Sonya King are on. If you are looking for someone who follows a tight script, that isn't happening here. Even when she's telling a story solo (LOVED the lost airplane one!), she's sort of going wherever her thoughts take her. I'll listen to each episode a few times, I do that with many shows, and keep finding new things I missed earlier. Just sit back and let it wash over you. One Note: I’m not sure why that Ouija Board collector is on so much, though. He referred to himself as "a non-believer" and I was a Behavioral Science major in college and with an IQ one and a half times normal, I don’t need randoms condescendingly explaining the way a brain works. Besides, I have a ton of professional hard scientist friends who finally shut up with their Skeptics Society and atheist absolutism attempts at converting me in defiance of what I have personally experienced (Two words: multiverse theory). The last thing I need is to hear from another smug guy who hasn’t shared his Curriculum Vitae. Like I tell my buddies, science is a tool to discover more about what is true. It’s not a brush to dismiss anything you don’t understand.
