Thank you

Thank you for being so brave to open your window of grief, giving us a glimpse of such a precious loss. Listening to you makes me think that there’s always hope to be found when life seems hopeless.

Great!

Great and enjoyable podcast. Very informative and non-judgmental, which is refreshing. But Angela, you need to talk more!

Another great contribution from Angela.

I have just started listening to this podcast and it is enjoyable. I would expect nothing less from Angela. Funny though, that between the Azores and the American accent I don't recognize half the Portuguese words, which makes it even more entertaining. 😋 Unfortunately, like all other podcasts out there it is just a bit too long.

Keeping it Portuguese

Two wonderful ladies talking about Portuguese food, the culture, the books, festas, and lots more for sure! Angela is on the west coast and Maria is in the east coast. Numerous chefs have been interviewed and they discuss about their food journey. They will also share recipes and discuss what is happening in their lives. This podcast makes you feel like you are at home. The insight they have about our Portuguese life and culture is wonderful. I feel like they are apart of my family.

Learn about Portuguese-American life

Two ladies discussing Portuguese food and the Portuguese-American experience with each other and others. If you grew up in a Portuguese-American community, you'll be nodding your head, laughing along with them, and occasionally shedding a tear. I finally have my retired family members listening to podcasts, and they love this one. Obrigado, queridas!
