Our Debut Album

This podcast was a lot of fun, and I loved getting to peek into the process of writing a song. Dave and Grant have a great dynamic, and it was a lot of fun to listen along as they made their way through their album.

Thought I would hate it, but I LOVED it!

At first I was suspicious of this idea. What's going to be interesting about hearing two dudes try to write a song in an hour. Turns out: everything! Not only are the songs amazing, but you get really great insights into just what it takes to songwrite -- everything from brainstorming to production, mixing, etc. I don't play music, but as a music fan, this aspect really appeals to me. The hosts Graham and Dave are also really hilarious and charming, so not only do you feel like you're learning about writing songs, but you'll find yourself cracking up. Such a great show to listen to on a long commute!

More Dave and Graham

I'm hoping this is just the start of a bunch of spin off podcasts of Stop Poscasting yourself.

Really good.

This is a super funny and genuine podcast, and I'm always impressed with the songs these guys manage to write! I'm hoping the podcast continues with a sophomore album!

Bait and Switch

There are other ways to monetize your art. I downloaded these on the clever conceit, looking forward to listening to them on a road trip, and hearing what was created. At the end of the episode, when it's time for the payoff, they tell you to go to another website and give them a buck. To hear the song. That you are here to hear. Bugger off, I'm driving you twits. And no, anyway. A buck for some additional content, or swag, or, I don't know, a music video, I could understand. Maybe. But to RENEGE ON THE WHOLE PREMISE OF THE SHOW?! Just, nah. Don't bother downloading this.

This is what I've been waiting for

I binge listen to this podcast regularly. I LOVE THIS, it is so much fun and I'm going to buy the album! If you want any insight into a funny but painfully accurate way of depicting the songwriting/creation process, tune in!!! I hope they do another season after they make this one. It's crazy to hear how they progress. LOVES IT!
