Excellent

This is exactly the type of content that we need in America. They give fair and balanced acknowledgments to opposing views. They present insightful well rounded arguments

Mostly agree

Trump supporter here-because no one ever tried to stop the ship of state from going off the deep end until his election! Judges and ProLife support, regulatory reform, patriotism, criminal justice reform, tax cuts, peace and general optimism are a few reasons for appreciating this administration and hope for a second term. So what if he’s a New Yorker and tweets too much. On election night, 6 of my fellow Cali girlfriends rejoiced with me! Loudly! Best election ever

Love the Irreverence!!!

Loved this week’s broadcast RE: Mayor Moneybags. David and Will are entertaining, witty and, like all good conversationalists, INSIGHTFUL.The real Imperialists in today’s politics are the powerful liberal elites of California. I’m thankful that RFC exists to help us separate truth from fiction!

Love these guys!

National review’s “free California” podcasts are brilliant. Swaim and Bahsen are an extremely engaging duo, shining a light into the absurdities and hypocrisies here in California, and on a national level too. Each podcast covers the news of the week, with special attention paid to the doings of the lunatic left. Highly recommend.

Common sense

Great podcast. I wish our schools would teach kids this stuff. Or at least cause and effect.

I like it

Swaim is snappy.Bahnsen is clever and informed. While Bahnsen is not a fan of Trump, he is fair. I have listened to at least 85 episodes and am consistently impressed that they do their homework (see show notes)They are principled conservatives, even if Will was a leftist in his youth.

I like hearing about California

Will and Dave will sometimes say they don’t think a national audience would be interested in all things California. I disagree! I see California as the canary in the idiotic leftist coal mine. This is always a very entertaining and smart podcast.

Send Me Every Book You Own

Thanks David and Will for your smart, entertaining podcast. I disagree with you guys on just about everything, especially on unions and the CA teachers union in particular, but I still enjoy your commentary and look forward to the show every week. Keep up the good work!

Fantastic podcast

Radio Free California is a must listen. Will and David provide an insightful, engaging, and entertaining overview of the week’s politics and cultural developments in California as well as the implications nationally. I subscribe to many podcasts but always make this one a priority.

Disciplined, thoughtful and hilarious!

David Bahnsen knows his stuff with objective analysis based on his profession. As a young Californian in the industry who leans right, this is a podcast I look forward to every week for David & Will’s disciplined focus on California current events.

You don’t have to live in CA for this to be relevant

This is a great podcast that highlights the absurdity of local and state government; government overreach and the control of a few on the many. I have learned so much about conservative principles and as David and Will like to say “the law of unintended consequences” when policies and laws aren’t fully thought out. I look forward to listening every week and love the mariachi music intro and closing! :)

Four Stars because I want to hear Will More

I’ve always wondered whether I’d ever really call myself a republican because of the insane implications it’d mean on the national scale. Listening to this podcast, it’s great to know that that there a republicans like me! This podcast gives great insight into the crazy world of California, but also gives you a good look at conservatives who are much more reasonable than others across the country. I’m glad to know that I’m just like a Californian Republican.

Savvy and Essential

Will and David provide a rational perspective on current events in California, and offer much-needed guidance on the social ills and prognostication of the time. When so many are proposing to enlarge the bureaucracy to solve complex problems, Will and David remind us why you can't "central plan" your way out of human nature. This show also does a tremendous job at pushing back hard against the still-present narrative that it is only possible for left-wing individuals to be compassionate citizens. It boggles the mind that so many believe Republican voters only vote that way because they "hate poor people and women." For anyone on the political spectrum, RFC is worth a listen.

Educational, funny yet serious

My 30 year old son introduced me to this podcast and I cannot wait each week for it to post. I am a 63 year old white grandmother of two grandkids. We immigrated from South Africa 19 years ago and I am very grateful and thank God for the blessing to live in the USA, in Iowa. I am eager to learn more and understand what is taking place in order to share with my, all too often, naive / apathetic colleagues at work. Keep up the good work!

The hard truth

Will and David take us on a journey exploring national and local politics through the lens of California. They have wide ranging discussions on topics from economics to sports, but always with a policy slant. Although seriuosly out numbered in California, these conservatives continue to fight the good fight. Through well reasoned argument and discourse they lay out the hard thruths confronting us all in the US today. Do we do the hard work of working through our differences and making the sacrifices it will take to win the future or do we take the easy path of blaming others and expecting the state sector to look after our needs and wants.David has written a number of excellent books in reacent years, Crisis of Responsibility is paramount among them. His book on dividend investing is a good introdution to the topic. I am looking forward to his book on Elizabeth Warren which is scheduled for release over the coming months.Keep up the fight Gents.Regards,Your embattled friends in the Empire State.

Alternate perspective

I’m center left but have been seeking an alternate perspective on solutions to all the things that are so clearly broken in our state. I’d prefer some more explanations of their views at times- they seem to be more affirming than persuading- but I appreciate their take on things nonetheless.
