Murderino for life
I started listening when they were about 20 episodes in, way long ago. I caught up quickly, then listened, eagerly, twice a week for years. I’m not sure what happened, but about 10 months into the pandemic, I stopped connecting with them. Maybe it just felt different without Stephen(!), or not in Georgia’s house, I don’t know. Something is off. It just vibes differently now than the early days. I’m still a Murderino & I still rep the SSDGM, but in more of an old-school way.

Not enough actual story
50 mins of talking before the actual podcast😐.. maybe make your random hours separate segments?

Favorite podcast
I’ve been a long time listener. I love the true crime story telling with a comedic twist. I also appreciate that this podcast address real life issues that impact minorities, marginalized people, and people with uterus’s.

Long time listener, long time fan
I’ve been listening for almost 4 years. This is a great podcast that I always fit into my weekly routine! I do think they are an acquired taste but many people agree they are 5 stars so give them a try! People complain about their views but if you want a true right winged podcast, find another one to listen to or make your own podcast. Anyway SSDGM and give the podcast a try, maybe you’ll like it and if you don’t you can always stop :)

Love x3
This is easily my favorite podcast. I love listening to Karen and Georgia, it’s like listening to myself talking to my sister. They are hilarious and serious enough at the same time to get the information out there.

Always a Great listen
Not your typical inane chitter-chat and true crime (and other) stories. These two are real and funny and kind and tell a great story.

Amazing
My favorite podcast, 5/5

I really want to still love it but…..
It’s not the same as it used to be. You can tell that Karen and Georgia just don’t care anymore (about the podcast or each other) and they’re doing this because it’s their job. Definitely listen to the early episodes, but you can skip anything after 2019

I like the main part but…
I find myself fast forwarding through through the first 20 minutes or so because I don’t like how political it can be. There are VERY strong and sometimes borderline offensive comments made until the true crime part of the podcasts begins.

There are better
Personally, I don't mind the political comments. People are allowed to have opinions, it doesn't mean they are trying to "indoctrinate" you with "propaganda". That notion I've read in some of the reviews is ridiculous. However, I think that the show lacks substance, considering how serious the topics are. They spend a very long time chatting, not actually telling the stories. All of their reactions to the grim stories seem scripted and disingenuous, unfortunately. Definitely not the place I would choose to listen to true crime. I think this approach minimizes the importance of these stories. If you are looking for something better, I would recommend Crime Junkie.

Phenomenal fun from two hilarious ladies interspersed with true crime stories, their soul-baring personal shares and some interesting perspectives - who could ask for more? Tens of thousands of fans - that’s who! Their genuine shock and empathy for victims and families is only surpassed by their sincere interest in unearthing some disturbing details. My favorite podcast
MFM is one of the first podcasts I ever listened to and is easily one of my most successful long-term relationships. It’s part of my routine each week! If it makes you laugh, if it makes you cry—that’s a good podcast! I’m so grateful that Karen and a Georgia continue to share stories and talk about the things that are important to them and many of their listeners.

Long time listener
I am giving it 5 stars to combat against everyone being so touchy about the host’s political views. Snowflakes, who?

Hate and political speech
I tune in to the podcasts to hear the true crime stories. I DO NOT tune in to hear your personal opinion about politics. If you feel the need to specifically address one specific group of people, you should put that right up front. I would have just scrolled on. I won’t be tuning in to your podcast anymore. Sorry, not sorry.
