Audio Treasures!

What a joy it was for me to discover these narrated soundscapes from unique habitats in North America!!! They are excellent for brushing up on identification of birds, mammals, insects and other singers in their native habitat. The pleasing and gentle voice of the narrator introduces the sounds the listener will hear in the high quality field recording. These episodes are suited to those who want to brush up on their nature listening skills or for those who merely want to relax to beautiful recordings of Planet Earth without anthropogenic background sounds. I hopefully await more episodes!

Wonderful recordings, great quality

I’ve listened to Lang Elliot for many years, starting with old tapes of him teaching bird song identification. These are wonderful recordings of nature that make me feel both relaxed and joyful. And I miss the sounds of spring in the Midwest, so some of these are the perfect balm for my homesickness. Thank you, Lang, for bringing such beauty to us.
