PMPED
Great Podcast!!! I've been listening since Episode One. Great job Mandy & Liz!!! It is extremely frustrating that 'The Firm' is not being held accountable!! I am surprised that this scheme has yet to have been shown to have occurred by others...like his Dad?!? I would imagine the billing invoices would tell so much. Wouldnt they have to show a dispersement sheet? Proof of how the account/trust was reconciled. Doesnt the bar have a process for all attorneys to follow in order to protect the clients from exactly this type of theft? Like signature of client on trust disperement sheet? I believe this has occurred for a long time & by many at PMPED. Why else would the main partner, Parker, loan AM money after they knew he stole from clients & the Firm?!? They want AM to shut up & be the fall guy. The conversation AM had w/his bro Randy on jailhouse recordings is another clue. He knew what AM was up to...he asked him point blank if all victims had been accounted for (brought in front of grand jury) yet?I dont understand why this law office has not been shut down. These attorneys have been using the town of Hampton for too long. Using them for big money wins from local jury pools, all while keeping business growth (jobs) out because of the way they used that 'odd' law of location filing. Dont know exact name...but it is the reason why Walmart is not in Hampton. They kept the county poor while pocketing millions. Why are other law firms in SC not outraged by the special treatment this firm is receiving from the Bar? The injustice that has occured & continues to occur in SC is maddening.

Canteen et Al.
I love this podcast, but ENOUGH with Alex’s canteen. One does what they have to do to survive in jail and that includes hustling. What Alex is doing us no different than any other inmate. Your continuous canteen obsession adds nothing to the reporting of any relevance. His crimes are what matters, not his beef sticks. Get over it, move on and stick to what is truly relevant. Also, enough with your “I’m a martyr” mantra. You’re an excellent reporter, but you’re muting the relevant facts and issues with your canteen obsession and your martyrdom regarding your reporting.

Oh. My. God.
The story is great, so leave yourself out of it. We don’t need to know “how hard it is“ to do your job and we don’t need to know “It’s not OK“ when someone has aggrieved you. With the whining and the vocal fry, you sound like a sorority girl complaining to her friends about another girl wearing the same outfit. Did you actually go to J school? You seem to have a good reporting skills, so grow up and be a professional broadcaster. ** also, for the love of God, please stop having your boyfriend to character impersonations. He sounds like Chuck Schumer when he reads those letters.

PMPED is Disingenuous
PMPED "discovered" a check in Alex's office? They were suspicious and went hunting for hidden Easter eggs. PMPED fired Alex but when did they report him? Or did they? Selective reporting to avoid scrutiny?

Slow it down please
Faithful listener here but would it be possible for Liz to slow her speech down a little? She is great, speaks clearly and distinctly but fast. I really like her knowledgeable reporting and don’t want to miss anything. Thanks!

Eh.
Maybe it’s host or maybe the story really isn’t interesting. But the she feels the need to narrate the audio recorded interviews/evidence to tell you something she has already stated before she play the audio is annoying and unnecessary. Also she keeps directing you to the company website that she works for to get more information. What’s the reason for making a podcast if you’re going to direct your listeners to look it up? And from what I seen they want you to subscribe for a monthly charge. Honestly, this podcast is meh at most. She doesn’t even seem to care to sound even a little excited or even engaged to her own podcast. She seems almost bored when she speaks. 1/10 would find something else to listen to.

Ok
Ok podcast. So much better if host and fiancé didn’t make all about how hard they are working and the only ones getting it right. Also, her voice inflections and vocal fry make it difficult to listen to.

Great podcast
I have been hooked since the opening paragraph. Great job doing your research and investigation and broadcasting the truth and story about what happened.

I tried…
I REALLY wanted to be able to finish this podcast, because I was SO interested in the case (s) but the host is ABSOLUTELY insufferable. Between telling people what to say in podcast reviews, whining about her “haters”, going on and on and ON about how much work she’s done for the investigation, comparing herself to journalists and investigators and the ABSOLUTELY CRINGY and irrelevant personal info she divulges (like the introduction every episode at the end of her “fiancée) I just COULD NOT anymore. I’ll find other podcasts to get the info. True crime podcasts are loved because of the information. While the podcaster usually gets money for their efforts, they should find that enough and not torture audiences with their personal nonsense and opinions. It’s about the CASE, the VICTIMS and the OUTCOME. Not YOU.

Can’t wait
This story should make for a slam-dunk podcast but the delivery just isn’t right. Can’t wait for Wondery or someone more established in the space to repackage this fascinating tale.

Thanks for getting me interested in story!
I was excited to see there is so much more to this story, now I can go look for more information. I’d love to hear your info but if all the episodes are this girl, no way can I listen. I NEED to find her to give her a glass of water. Does she have NOBODY giving her AT LEAST just basic recording advice? Also I’m reading she is indeed pronouncing the names correctly but it’s still driving me nuts. I have no clue how you’d get an E out of an A in Alex but ok. If it’s a passion keep going but oof.

Reviews?
You have no credibility Mandy. It’s clear you’ve paid for a lot of these reviews. It’s clear most of these people haven’t heard a single minute of your podcast. Reviews stating how objective you are and that you don’t have a bias or insert yourself in the story are nonsense and everyone knows it. That’s being said I’ll happily change mine to five stars for the right price. Until then I’ll tell the truth. You aren’t fit to report on next Wednesday’s lunch for a high school paper much less actual news. It’s easy to see why you and your cohort were both fired from your previous job. Stick to being a social media bully and leave the reporting to journalists please and thank you. If you like this podcast there is something wrong with you or you're Mindy’s family.

Smh….
I really wanted to like this podcast but I can’t help but to shake my head and sigh every time I hear the reporter (Mandy) come out and disparage other podcasts/YouTube stories, stress the correct pronunciation of names, proclaim she’s the only legit source, etc. A reputable reporter would let the story speak for itself and not have to point out trivial things such as those mentioned. Sorry, it’s a hard pass now.

Very Enjoyable
I know I’m a podcast junkie, but I think Mandy, David and Liz are doing good work!

Thank you: Update
Update: I know Mandy and her team take this case very seriously and work tirelessly. The last few episodes, the other woman on the podcast, has not made listening as enjoyable. The last episode, the amount of times she said “like” and “right” while reporting the story, was too much for me. Mandy has been has done such a solid and thorough job reporting. But the new woman is making it seem juvenile. The tone of her voice is not as assuring and stable as Mandy’s. While this is still my #1 podcast, I have found the past few episodes not as enjoyable. Due to the quick pace of the other woman’s voice, and her delivery, it has made it difficult to follow and keep up with the latest updates. Why isn’t there a 10 star rating? The investigating, reporting, editing, the interviewing, the emotional and mental stress, and everything else that encompasses your work is nothing short of phenomenal. Podcast are great, especially if they are subjects you’re interested in. But you are so much more than a podcast. You and every member of your team are the courage voices that were sent to help these victims. I hope when all is exposed on this case, and it will be, that they all have comfort knowing that there are good people in this world who WILL look out for the well being of their neighbors.

Meh
The dramatic readings from David have to go. It’s so bad and so overboard. Also, I have listened to every episode and am so interested in this story but the snark from both girls is getting super annoying. I’ll still listen every week but I feel like they need to read the reviews and make some changes.

The only podcast I look forward to
I am obsessed with the rotted onion layers that are this family and their inbred shenanigans. I don’t know why I’m so fixated on it, maybe it’s that smug baked ham face of Alex that makes me want to see him tumble hard, or how much I detest his son Paul, even in death. There should be no easy way out for him. Good job guys!

Her dry mouth clicking sounds are too distracting to the story. Hydrate, girl! Get liquid IV as a podcast sponsor like everyone else.
