Letdown
Unfortunately this podcast has been a letdown for me. I had hope to get great parenting information from this podcast but only about 25% of the podcast has any sort of intellectual conversation. The rest is ads and pointless conversation.

Motherhood isn’t as bad as they make it seem.
I have followed along with Carly and Jade’s story for several years since the Bachelor, however 2022 is where I have to stop. I love the podcast when there are interesting guests, however most of the time, it seems to be both moms, but specifically Jade, speaking about the awful, taxing, terrible, hard, impossible, lonely, etc. job of being a mom. Very rarely is it celebrating the wonderful and most amazing role of being a mom. If someone listened to this before they had kids (as I did) they might definitely reconsider having them because it just sounds like absolute misery to her(them). Before I had my son ten months ago, I believed this toxic negativity about motherhood. And now that I have my son, I realized that hat it’s just because they are unhappy with their lives, the spousal help (or lack thereof), and being a mom. So I’m done filling myself with these negative thoughts, when if you focus on the good, it is good.

Insensitive and low quality
I’ve felt for awhile like the episodes have decreased in quality and have gotten very short. Last summer when Jade was moving to their new house but there were construction delays, they had to stay in an Airbnb temporarily and she mentioned that her family was “technically homeless.” I found this incredibly insensitive and out of touch, as they own multiple properties, live an incredibly privileged life, and were temporarily inconvenienced prior to moving into their million dollar house. That is not at all comparable to the struggle thousands of people face on a daily basis who have no idea where their next meal is coming from and sleep without a roof over their head.

The Mom friends I never had
Love this podcast. I’ve been listening to it since I had my first daughter in 2018. Just moved to a new city, felt very overwhelmed, had no friends or family and new baby and PPA. Found this podcast and it was my little escape and felt like they were my mom friends I didn’t have, and I didn’t have to make the effort of conversation bc we all know what the mom brain fog is like early postpartum! I had my 2nd kid in 2020 and again felt very alone during the COVID pandemic and Jade and Carly continued to feel like my mom friends and not feeling so alone in this crazy postpartum COVID world. Thanks ladies for showing up, bringing us great content and just feeling like a friend at a time in our lives when a lot of us mamas need just that <3

Long time listener-very disappointed
I’ve been listening to Jade & Carly since the podcast with Liz. I will say that I was very disappointed when I heard Jade talking about healthcare workers. When she said that healthcare workers are giving bad care right now, that was extremely hurtful. As a nurse myself, you have no idea what healthcare workers are going through on a daily basis. Just because you had one bad experience doesn’t give you the right to say all healthcare workers are bad at their jobs. Please think through your thoughts before speaking about them on a podcast for the world to hear.

Really didn’t like the comparison of military spouse to NFL spouse.
I’m sure Jade didn’t mean it that way, but to say being an NFL spouse is like being a military spouse is so off. If my husband made millions, I would be more than happy to move all over and live in mansions. That is far from the reality for military families. They don’t make a lot of money and often get moved to base housing with mold, gas in the water, or other horrible housing issues. And when we’re playing “single mom,” to our kids for often 6 months with no help, we are also worried about our spouses safety. Again, Jade probably didn’t realize what she was saying. But as a military wife, I can’t relate at all to an NFL wife who makes millions.

Jade should do her own show
Jade has great advice on parenting and I really like listening to her…. However, the podcast has significantly declined recently. Where did the guests go? New guests - not recycled guests. Unsubscribing now. This is the only podcast I actually turn off in the middle of an episode.

Brainwashing your kids
I always looked forward to listening to this podcast as it’s a nice break from what’s going on in the world- until tonight’s episode. A “vaccinated” elf on the shelf. Not a listener comment I would’ve read aloud then said it’s a “good mom”. Brainwashing is what it is. If you are for the vax, great- your opinion, your choice. In today’s polarizing climate, I think it would’ve been smart to keep that to yourselves.

Love it but let Jade talk
Love the podcast but wish Carly would take a step back sometimes and let Jade or the guest speak, she’s always talking over / interrupting it gets hard to listen to at times. ESP the latest episode about Santa , she was constantly talking over Jade it was soo frustrating to even listen to. Jade should do a spin off podcast!

They are real, raw, and informative. Such a good mix of fun and factual. Must listen for mommies. Makes you feel good to be in the momClub and know you’re not alone

Disappointing
Unfortunately the hosts of this podcast don’t seem like they are excited about it or interested in doing it. Episodes are shockingly short and it feels like you are either listening to adds or strange sound effects for more than half the time.

Carly- stick to advice on dating or what not to do. The continued careless unconfidebt “I dunno” attitude on parenting advice is painful to listen to. Jade you offer some sound advice and really think you could be successful solo

I’m a fan but want more!
I have listened to this podcast for a longggg time, but lately especially it seems like the episodes are falling flat and getting shorter. I’m used to listening to podcast that are over an hour minimum and these short episodes on mommies tell all just seem so surface level compared to others out there. Get deeper and ask more things that we’d want to hear. I loved the most recent episode with Sarah, it felt very real and very detailed! More episodes like that!

I love listening to Jade’s take on motherhood. I would listen more if it was only Jade, or maybe she can have a spin-off podcast about her take on birth and parenting.

Used to love it
Used to love the podcast but with Liz leaving it really has gone downhill. It’s also CRINGEWORTHY to hear “all the things” from Carly a million times an episode.
