I Love these Ladies !

I found there PODCAST by searching minimalism. I’m 50, so I’m clearly not a millennial but I absolutely love learning from these two ladies.

Love love love!

Just binge listened to all the episodes... I’ll probably relisten to most of them. I’ve seen this pop up on my recommended list so many times and wish I would have started listening sooner! I find this podcast so inspirational and have gotten rid of so much clutter (physical and digital)! Keep up the great work girls!

New favorite podcast!!

I have binged almost every episode of this podcast over the past week and I absolutely love it. I’ve been trying to dabble in minimalism for the past year or so, and Kelly and Lauren’s perspectives are so refreshing and insightful. As a millennial AND a woman, I feel like I’ve gained two new friends who think the same way as I do. They inspire me to continue my journey towards minimalism and remind me that I am not alone in this process! I will continue to be a dedicated listener and hope their message can spread to wider audiences.

A productive listen every time

This podcast has been such a welcome addition to my library. The hosts are thoughtful and insightful, and the guests bring smart, applicable information that inspires me every time. I just finished listening to the Josh Davis episode on productivity and I can’t wait to pick up his book. As an aspiring minimalist, this is one of my top recommendations to peers in the arena. Looking forward to catching up on past episodes and future airings- keep up the awesome work! - Sharon @themomrenovation

A fresh perspective

I stumbled upon this podcast series because I was searching for something to listen to when I commute to and from work. I recently embarked on a new life journey exploring intentional living, how to spend more time traveling, and minimalism as a lifestyle. Lauren & Kelly bring a fresh perspective to “minimalism”. I found different series on this topic but as a 24 year old woman who spent the first few years of adulthood in overconsumption and running my own small business, their words connected with what I was seeking out. I have listened to about 16 of their podcasts so far and it has opened my mind, brought new ideas, and widen my perspective. I appreciate how honest and genuine they are, it inspires me to keep pursing this lifestyle and know that I’m not alone in this journey. Cheers to a rad series that is super helpful!

Long over due with the 5 stars

They shared my Instagram post about them helping me out getting rid of emotional clutter. Here’s my story. July 14, 2018 I lost my mother to a drunk diver. I never got to say good bye to her or tell her how much she meant to me. After her passing I wasn’t present in my life. I had just had a baby boy when she died. In November tragiced hit again and I lost my baby. I was a complete mess trying to find a better me. I was suffering from depresssion & anxiety. I was extremely sensitive to everything. Episode 46 helped me get threw my emotions. I’m able to realize what’s worth my time and what isn’t. Thank you so much!!! You guys seriously inspire me to be a better me. Love @ohdamitskaren21 P.s it’s my husbands Apple ID

It’s 2019, learn what feminism means

Weird that you’re still quoting it as a taboo label you’d never want....very rich, annoying millennial voice that I find doesn’t reflect real millennials.

best minimalist podcast I’ve heard!!

this podcast is so. amazing. I love how relatable, simple, & versatile Lauren & Kelly are. Being a young adult (millennial) woman in this culture, so many things and products and expectations for fashion are shoved in your face, but the girls help tackle the problem from the standpoint of a young adult woman, that also understands the pressures of western consumerism, and how to practically overcome them. Compared to some of the other minimalist podcasts I’ve listened to, I just love how the girls are in the same demographic and totally understand the pressures, and give practical advice & examples. I also love all the versatile topics, including zero waste & economic sustainability!! It’s really just the whole package - thank you so so much for this.

I appreciate this...

I am researching podcasts for a sustainable site I am on a team to construct. Now I appreciate the process you girls are going through with your minds building a simple lifestyle. I have worked towards this in the last year and have really seen how little I need. This is fantastic because we do hold onto things in our life that holds us back on other aspects. The only thing I’d like to see more, as you promote minimalist lifestyle is to hear better waste practices. When you are promoting someone to throw clutter away is love to hear the reduce-reuse-recycle promotions because I would bet so many hear these wonderful messages, and throw away to the landfill or incinerated dependent on location! I am an environmental science major and have really begun to dig deeper into behavioral changes, practice what you preach and educating in different ways (words, or outlets) that don’t have to come off as “hippie” or “liberal” but better for yourself and others. Your podcast does this!

Thank you!

I love hearing minimalism from the female perspective. Kelly and Lauren are very well organized and present topics in a clear and organized way. I love also how they do research and reference other sources to the topics they cover. From their episodes, I found the most value and motivation from the morning routines and also the idea of bullet journalling. I realized from previous failed attempts, I was doing bullet journallying totally wrong. Keep up the awesome work!A suggestion for a future episode, I would be interested to know how you both use minimalism in your normal work. I work for a big 4 accounting firm serving companies in their internal audit function. Most of the time, it requires a great deal of sources/internet tabs/documents to be readily available and open to work quickly and efficiently but can very overwhelming sometimes. Have you ever worked at a job this way and what would you recommend?

Fun!

Thanks for making minimalism realistic and fun! I love simplifying and enjoy your podcast! I’m all caught up as I’ve been listening for a week straight now. I’ve learned such good tips and you both have spurred me to keep making awesome minimalist decisions in my daily life—thank you! The biggest practical change that has made a difference has been completing getting rid of all apps on my home screen and I just have my phone app, message app, a folder of functional apps, and a folder of well-being apps in the bar at the bottom. And now I get to constantly look at an adorable picture of my 2 dogs whenever I look at my phone. That simple tip has added extreme value to my life. Extreme is a big word, but...girls...it’s made such a big difference! Thank you again!

Great advice!!!!

These 2 ladies are awesome! I’ve wrote them on IG recently and they responded quickly to help me with how to de clutter my closet and I was just like wow I didn’t even think to ask myself those questions. Because of their inspiration to de clutter and being more stress free I have de cluttered my closet, music, photos, and now I’m moving little by little throughout my room. As someone who suffers from anxiety I thank you ladies for your great simple advice that have made dramatic changes in my life for the better! I’m a little less stressed everyday and feel more calm.

Love It!

I just found this podcast through the Don’t Keep Your Day Job podcast FB page. I’m in love with it! You guys are exactly what I’ve been looking for in minimalist inspiration. I started traveling for my job as a physical therapist and learned that I didn’t need half of what I was taking across the country. Since finding a home base and building a wellness business I want to start off in my new home with intention and a minimalist lifestyle. I couldn’t have found you guys at a better time! I feel like I could join in with you like I’m hanging out with my friends. I was feeling a bit discouraged because it seemed like everything I was seeing about minimalism was from men. And that’s not necessarily bad, but I can really connect with what you two are saying and it’s more realistic for my life! Keep it up and I hope you’ll have many more episodes!

Women's voices, sorely needed

I just discovered these wonderful women's podcast, and it's really good. In my experience, the minimalism community is full of women saying awesome, relevant things, but the most prominent minimalists are all men. This has to change and these ladies are doing an amazing job with this podcast. Lots of great info, but also good conversation and they have a great rapport.

Newbie

I’m 23 and have been looking for women that are doing the minimalism thing, it’s so hard to find a women doing this and so glad I came across this channel. It really helped me take a step back and look in my closet for example i realized i have so many shoes I didn’t use, I really had to take a look on a deeper reason as to why I felt the need to buy so much stuff when they don’t add value or make me happy I have 8 pair of unworn heels that I bought trying to fill a void So thankful for this channel And the minimalism life style
