This podcast

Is my only political source. I’m lost and angry but it’s always a great listen. 5 Michaels.

A panacea against my living hell

Unless we apply the breaks to global climate change in the next 10 years, we’re doomed as a species. This is an uncomfortable thought made all the more real by the inaction of liberal elites to make the necessary changes and the denial of the problem by the conservative elites and the people paying them. That’s why I enjoy listening to my two Canadian dads talk about political movies so I can forget the horror for 40 minutes.

My favorite Canadians

Some of the only worthwhile Canadians talking about films. What more could you want?

love it

i adore this podcast. i'm the exact same age as will and luke and it's really fun and enlightening and also maddening and embarrassing to go back and revisit all the media from that weird 2000s era with them. i enjoy luke's writing outside of the podcast and i think he brings a great left perspective to these discussions, and i really appreciate will's level of critical awareness of movies/film and his obviously deep love for the medium even when the media they're discussing is cringey. it's a great pairing and i seriously look forward to every new episode.as a side note, the image for the podcast on apple podcasts makes my blood run cold. 💕

Balancing The Scale Against Political Media That Ravages The Soul

Came this way first via my appreciation of John Semley's twitter presence (he's on the American Sniper ep), then started actually reading full articles from all involved. Wow. Really will save your soul. I'm a fiend for this stuff, likely what you've been looking for forever as well, and the Patreon episodes are well worthwhile for extended looks into this canon. Now I get why so few people write podcast reviews, writing it out makes me feel like I'm in a cult. Well, then, 4 more years, 4 more years! lol, bro, you even get irony?

Jackie Chan

As a fellow Jackie Chan fanatic, the episode about him is one of the single greatest podcast episodes ever.

Pretty much my favorite podcast.

I found my way to this podcast after Luke Savage's first appearance on the Citations Needed podcast, where they talked about the New Atheists. From there I checked out the Michael and Us episode on Religulous, and after that I was totally hooked. The sense of humor is perfect for me and the leftist critiques are always informative. I highly recommend it.

Best music

I primarily listen to hear that song about Al Gore living on that guy’s street. So good!
