Legendary Work!

Tim, I've bestowed a 5 Star rating because you bring to the table legendary work man! It is benifitial to the martial arts community what you have and accomplished on your website and podcasts. The most important part of martial arts that some forget is to keep the lineage alive by practice and or documentation. With most everything now going live on the internet, it is great that you offer a place to put this said documentation. The podcasts are most enjoyable because it gives us a indept look into different styles, cultures, and amazing stories. You are doing a amazing job man and I look forward to more podcasts (especially the Kajukenbo interview that may come soon)!

Has best theme music of any podcast

I like the concept of podcast and the interveiwees always have something interesting to say. In the beginining episodes, the interviewer seemed to be struggling a bit, and there were some awkward silences and pauses and a lot of "yeah's" interjected, but he is getting better and smoother at the whole interveiw process in the later episodes. "Polishing," as the other reviewers mentioned. As I mentioned in the title, I just just love the intro and outro theme music. Traditional far eastern instruments apparently go really well with the electric guitar.

Awesome concept! Needs some polishing.

I stumbled across this podcast in the hopes of finding something just like this, different Masters in their own words describing and sharing their insights on the martial arts. This podcast is Awesome in concept, and almost in application. By almost in application I mean that the host is "polishing" himself as an interviewer and commentator and at times seems like he doesn't know where to take the information or the conversation from these dynamic individuals. I was somewhat disappointed that of the 10 episodes 3 are on "kung fu" which I thought to be somewhat biased or excessive considering the vastness of the subject and the limited amount of overall information contained in this podcast. another disappointment is the interview I was most excited about, #4 continually says there is an error and cannot be downloaded. I do see promise and potential and love the website. I will continue to subscribe and am excited to see where the series goes from here.
