Please change the theme music

I love the pod, it’s one of my favorite cbb and I listen every week.I’m going to plea that you please consider changing the theme music, the March Madness music. It’s a special sound reserved for a special time of the year and should only be played or heard in March in my opinion. It’s jarring and a little sad to hear it when there are no tournament games being played and no spring in the air. Please consider finding new music or even no music until March.Thank you,Russ

Poor Attempt to Protect Josh Pastner

Hey Andy, don’t think for 1 second that deleting the original Kyler Edwards/Josh Pastner/Mike DeCourcy episode and re-uploading an edited version would go unnoticed. What was the point of deleting Pastner’s response to the questions in regards to the Ron Bell situation? Stop trying to be PR for these coaches (i.e. Jon Rothstein) and actually be a journalist that speaks for the fans and asks tough questions. You should tell the Georgia Tech SID to do a better job of teaching media training to Pastner; he can desperately use it. Also, tell Turner Podcasts to fire your current podcast producer and hire a new one. He or she did a terrible job of covering your errors when interviewing Pastner about Ron Bell. It sounded so bad.

Two Words: The Best

Best college basketball podcast. Very good interviews with the best coaches in college hoops. As a high school basketball coach I can honestly say basketball is my life. I have 2 little children that control the television, as well as, my entire life. With that being said, I pop in ear buds and listen to a ton of b-ball podcasts. This podcast is not for the casual fan who wants scores and Zion updates. This is for basketball junkies that know the game. If anything needs changed it would be to produce new episodes more often. Even during the offseason bc sometimes those are the best ones!

Ignorant and a shill for NCAA

Affable , apparently connected guy who completely lacks an original thought and provides no insight

Andy Katz is the best

Wish these podcasts were a little bit longer with a little more analysis on the season, but Andy is the best in the business. Love his interviews, they always give great analysis and help me look at teams through a different lens.

Excellent podcast

Andy, you do a great job with these. I appreciate your preparedness and the camaraderie that you have with the coaches. In today’s episode, you were talking about future Hall of Fame coaches. I agreed with your recommendations, but there was one glaring omission. Coach John Beilein has accomplished more nationally than Mark Few (2 title game appearances including one against Rick Pitino that has been vacated vs 1 for Few). He also has more total wins (724>535). You praised Coach Few (and appropriately I might add) for him doing things with integrity. However, Coach Beilein has not only done it with integrity, he was voted by his peers as the cleanest coach in the game. He also has created his own offensive system that has changed the college hoops landscape. And don’t forget that he has succeeded at literally every level of amateur basketball (HS, NAIA, D3,D2,D1 low and high), and he was a head coach at every single stop. Coach Few is worthy, but Coach Beilein is even more worthy - by every objective measure and a few subjective ones.

Good interviews, not enough content

The interviews are great but there’s not enough actual College Basketball talk. This podcast is too coach focused and has no real College Basketball talk.

Glad Andy is back

I have missed him this hoops season. The ESPN one is a complete train wreck one now. I bet it will take Andy no time to climb the ladder of podcasts back to the top.

Coach talk makes me yawn

Apparently some people like interviews from coaches, but my goodness is it just repetitive, cliche BS. I understand giving your own predictions isn’t a definitive way to summarize or predict things, but my goodness is this useless for content I crave.
