Michael Gungor (Vishnu Dass) explores how clinging to our most important stories imprisons us in suffering. Freedom is simply loving THIS.

Just Listen to “This” ♡

I’ve been intimately aware of Nondual teachings for more than a decade, which sounds ridiculous to say... and... anyway, This is among the purest these ears have heard. Thank You to and from my Heart in the shape of Vishnu Dass. I am loving This.

Thank you for THIS offering. As I’ve been listening I have found your timing of topics and conversations to coincide with my own journey in THIS. I find myself resonating and finally finding an expression of what I’ve felt has been a path hard to describe and share with other folks. I am incredibly grateful for a bit of respite and renewal I have found by inviting these words create space in my heart and mind. I look forward to reading the book.

Philosophical, silly, accessible, and esoteric

THIS podcast is all of these things and more. As a devoted listener of The Liturgist, I found this podcast both hard and easy. It helped me understand a non-dualistic view of spirituality that I hadn’t experienced. Michael does a good job of breaking down some of the heady concepts into analogies that I could understand. As with all concepts, THIS is easier said than done. But it has opened my mind to new possibilities to try for.

Keep going.

I’ve been listening since day one. Keep going. Vishnu, Strangely I feel that Your spiritual journey and mine are eerily similar. And what you are doing is necessary ( whatever the hell that means). So , yes. Keep going.

Thank you.

I love this podcast so, so much. Just wanted to say thank you for all your work. I know it's very specific and definitely not for everyone, but it has already helped me immensely. Thank you for always bravely (at times perhaps even foolishly) speaking honestly and openly in your pursuit of truth. So much love to all of you.

The Next Chapter

For those of us who are going through deconstruction, THIS is a fascinating next chapter in Michael/Vishnu's journey of self-rediscovery after thoughtfully laying aside the faith of his childhood, and his joy-filled desire to share his newfound spiritual discipline with other seekers is palpable and powerful.

Typical Watered-Down Western New Age

Cultural appropriation to the max. It seems weird to build a brand off of religious practices you have only very recently adopted. This is basically the trajectory of almost ever western new age teacher though. Why do people so badly want to be the authority on something they have very little experience with? It’s beyond me.

Love it

As a big fan of The Liturgists, I'm loving this outlet Michael has to be a little weirder and talk about stuff that isn't really fit for the Liturgist platform.

Another Straight Dude Worth a Listen

When I first saw Vish was doing a podcast I didn't really feel any draw to listen. Sometimes hos content can feel a little too in the clouds for me or hard to follow. THIS is thoughtful and something you can tell is a really needed outlet for him and I feel happy to consume it. It is so relatable and grounded. It's also light at times and beautifully produced. If you are an inconsistent listener or fan of The Liturgusts, I recommended giving this a shot. I'm very happy I did. Also Death is my faaaaav.
