So glad Norman & Cassandra took this franchise on!

A trilogy of films that truly deserves the Movies by Minutes treatment, and Norman and Cassandra do a wonderful job analyzing it. Great variety of episodes: some silly, some serious, some long, some short. Always fun whether they have a guest or are working on it just the two of them. They never fail to point out something I hadn’t noticed and/or challenge me to think a new way about the story. I don’t know what I’ll do once the series is over (go back and start at Ep 1 again?) but I am looking forward to Norman crying over “you bow to no one” very soon! Ok, relatively soon. Someday. Sooner than it was.

I love it!!!

It's such a great and down to earth and funny podcast, I learned so much that I would not have learned if I did not. From hearing them talk about the little details that when I rewatch I'll have to look for! But I heavily recommend for any big lord of the rings fan

It Isn't Perfect

It is probably the best LOTR movie podcast out there, but be prepared for jokes. Lots of jokes. Jokes that are not that great. And references to other pop culture franchises that aren't really relevant or funny. Or references to the lore and mythology of LOTR, except it is wrong, or other various mistakes made, with one of the hosts saying "I know I could just look it up, but I don't want to."So... ya, expect a lot of that.

A fantastic look at the LotR series.

This podcast is an insanely difficult venture, reviewing three of the longest movies made minute by minute, but they do it with aplomb and humor. I look forward to this podcast every morning.

SOMEONE PLEASE REDO THIS

A car alarm goes off in the middle of minute 5 and you didn’t edit that out? Seriously? And can anyone edit these so there aren’t so many “ums” and “ahhs”? And so the sound quality is better? Or can the creators PLEASE remake them? And if not, is it okay for someone else to remake these? Please consider that you are doing a podcast on quite possibly the best trilogy of all time. It’s a shame that it was done without much planning and low standards. I’ve listened to a lot of minute by minute Podcasts and it’s really easy to tell why some are better than others, not just by the actual content of what is being said. When I ignore the low standards and focus on the content, it seems both people are self absorbed and seem to care more about showing off what they know instead of coming up with interesting and insightful opinions and thoughts about the movies and books. Jokes are not funny. And it’s awkward actually. Please redo these. I’ve listened to the first 5, and I don’t know how much longer I can hold out. I guarantee the 5 star review people have quit listening to it.

Great show with knowledgeable hosts

I can’t imagine two other hosts having such off-the-top-of-their-head knowledge of LOTR. Great show that any fan should check out.
