Having gone through years of trying to conceive, and following a devastating miscarriage, when Izzy & Harry's second round of IVF was successful, Izzy felt strongly that the couple should be open about what they had been through. 'I know all too well the emotions and challenges you experience when going through fertility issues and how lonely it can feel. I feel passionately about keeping the conversations going about Fertility and my podcast ‘Let’s Talk Fertility’ aims to do just that.' Izzy has written about her own experiences in Best Selling book Dare To Dream and remains fascinated by the subject of fertility. By exploring other people’s paths to parenthood and talking to holistic and medical experts, Izzy hopes her podcast will give listeners a fully informed and emotionally supportive space, as well an introduction to a community whose support she has found to be invaluable.

Thank you!

I’ve experienced quite a rough few years after our son was stillborn at 40 weeks. Following his death, we had 2 miscarriages and no failed IVF cycles. We have a beautiful 4.5 year old and I continue to long for a living sibling for her. This podcast has given me some peace and also insight into the bigger “wellness” picture.

Thank You Izzy

I knew your story through reading “Dare to Dream” but I still cried (more than once). It’s just so relatable, and you speak with such kindness that it’s like listening to a friend whose been through this really hard journey that you are also going on. Your advice on wishing a well and successful pregnancy to others when inside all you want is to scream that it’s not fair was exactly what I needed and I have used it during pregnancy announcement after pregnancy announcement. What I’m trying to say is thank you for telling your story, it really does make me feel that I’m not alone. To anyone going through this infertility journey I would advice you to listen to this podcast, it is friendly, informative and most importantly relatable.

So important to helping others understand

I listened to this podcast as someone who is currently pregnant following a miscarriage last year. At the time of my miscarriage I read Dare To Dream and found it extremely comforting. Now, pregnancy after loss is a challenge in itself. 7 months in I am just about beginning to feel less anxious but the part in the podcast where you discuss how you will never get back that first pregnancy feeling resonates so strongly. Fertility struggles and miscarriage rob you of that naive joy of that first pregnant test and it’s so important to keep people talking about this subject. When I opened up about our experience I found so many people then did the same, and we need more public discussions like this so other people begin to understand what it’s like, and understand how to support people going through it. Well done Izzy.

Finally! Thank you!

As someone who is currently going through the struggles of trying, it was refreshing to hear that all the things I do, I feel and I think are basically the same as you describe. I have decided to make a conscious effort to wish any pregnant women well with their pregnancies and also to try and focus on getting me healthy & fit - as I certainly had lost my way!Thank you and can’t wait to hear more x

Such an important discussion

This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to write a review for a podcast but this isn’t simply a form of entertainment this is another example and avenue for us all to discuss this important topic. Keep up the good work Izzy and I hope this podcast brings some comfort and hope to anyone in the thick of this cruel battle.

Inspirational

As someone who is also going through infertility (newly) off the back of PCOS this is brilliant. To hear someone talk so openly and honestly about how they felt has brought me no end of relief, hope, a sense of not being alone in this unknown journey. My husband listened to this with me, and I was amazed how he responded. He feels this has given him an insight to how I am feeling (I often cannot articulate how I feel). Definitely recommend to anyone whose lives have been touched by infertility either personally, a friend, a family member, a colleague.
