Incredibly intellectually dishonest.

By calling a political ideology that isn’t on the right a cult. Maoism is a political ideology not a cult.

Compelling, engaging, well resaerched - all presented by the unflappable Sarah Steele whose calm demeanour lends this podcast a real "documentary" feel. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a deep dive into the complex world of cults and those who join them.

Poorly presented

The tone of this voice is unbearable. Great stories. I just wish they were better presented. The constant pauses are so annoying.

Love the delivery

The topic of cults, including how people get involved with them and what finally catalyses them to leave is thoughtfully explores in this podcast. The banality of evil is exposed in a way that is respectful to those who have been impacted by their association with the cults. I particularly enjoy the quiet, thoughtful narration, which is a rarity in this over-hyped world.
