    Meh

It was reasonably good, not compelling/great until they went fremium - not worth paying for

    The Best Series

It only is this series brilliant in delivering information, Candice DeLong is one of the best narrators I've head. She is intriguing and knowledgeable about what she's talking about!

    Political “woke” has strikes again

She went on a full rant about “missing white woken syndrome “ sealed the deal for me. Thanks for unintentionally revealed to the world that you’re taking marching order from the 1% elite circle.

In regards to the gabby petito episode

Thought the episode was being covered well untill they started talking about “missing white woman syndrome” which is ridiculous in my opinion because they started complaining about how people of color dont get as much coverage pr attention from the media. But if you are really want that to change then why dont you cover those stories yourself. Also, the media is mainly leftist so if they wanted to cover other stories why dont they? Because those stories dont fit their political narrative. So thats where i had to stop listening because they totally ruined what would have been a decent listen by doing what alot of people do now days and inject their ignorant political ideologies into a story that has absolutely nothing to do with that. This is about a woman who was murdered! Stop making everything about race! Stop being part of the problem! Definitely not recommending this show now.

    Serial Killer podcasts

I’m usually a listener to comedian podcasts and interviewers like Marc Marron. My wife recently turned me onto true crime podcasts and now I’m addicted. This show was my first listen after seeing a Candice DeLong show on tv. She’s Really interesting and knows her stuff. The stories she tells and the way she dives into these killers minds makes me think about them in a different way. I really love this show. I also really like one of the recent episodes where the producer talked to her about the Gabby Petito case and that helped me understand it so much better. I really hope they keep doing that. I don’t how many episodes they will make but I hope they keep them coming.

    Had high hopes...

    States her opinions as facts
Diagnoses perp with mental disorders without being licensed
    Does inadequate research into cases
Gets many MANY details of the investigation wrong
Her views ALWAYS align with the "popular opinions" - and change with them as well
Uses outdated medical lingo and theories
    Sensationalizes every case
    Condescending
    Biased
Takes sides and underhandedly trashes perp/family and audience
    Narcissistic
    Superiority complex
A quote from her, about "armchair detectives" or anyone with an opposing theory to her own (ep 3) :

"It's easy to sit around in your armchair and say: well maybe this person did it, or maybe that person did it, or maybe the police overlooked something..to me that's an alien theory. It's fun to speculate who's behind these murders, but you need to get your facts straight. Without quantum leaps and logic.. leave out very important facts that are inconvenient"

    Follow your own advice...

    Ok

Shows ok. Please be careful with the information you provide OCD is an anxiety disorder not a personality disorder - OCPD is the personality disorder, but that was not what Gabby was saying.

Gabby Petito Cause and Manner of Death

Great show, and I am a fan of Candace DeLong, but she is not a forensic pathologist, and she mixed up “cause of death” and “manner of death”. Legally there are 5 manners of death natural, accident, suicide, homicide or undetermined (some jurisdictions also have unclassified as well). The manner of death is determined by the circumstances. It is the cause of death that is more specific and more informed by the autopsy or toxicology. Causes of death are things like strangulation, gunshot wound, blunt force injuries, morphine toxicity, atherosclerotic coronary artery disease, etc. However, if a body is decomposed and the autopsy/toxicology show no specific cause of death, the coroner or medical examiner may classify the manner of death as “homicide” and designate the cause of death as “by homicide means unknown” or “homicidal violence”.

    Long time fan!

I am such a fan of Candice DeLong! So I have been so giddy with excitement that she has a podcast about the very thing I love to study, why do people kill. I expected nothing but the best and that is what Candice gives us, the best! Thank you for your amazing example to me, and all women out there! You are such an inspiration!

    Pettit case

The restaurant in Wyoming has a drastically different story about what went on during the incident. Coming from first hand interviews. Their view was that Gabi was the one causing issues rather than Laundrie. Not the best reporting in this case.

    Great podcast

Love this podcast- the host is really knowledgeable and I love the way she tells the story. I just listened to the Gabby Petito- it’s very different from the others, but I like the way she and the guest were answering the questions that I had about the case. Can’t wait to hear more!!!

    Can't wait for Tuesdays now!

I love True Crime and was really excited to find this podcast- the storytelling is engaging and the host has really great insight. I was surprised that the format changed in the episode about Gabby Petito and it wasn't just storytelling, but I actually really liked it. It was good to hear her cohost asking the questions that I wanted answered. Can't wait for Tuesday and the next one to come out!

    Started out better

I liked the basis for a lot of the shows on Wondery channel. Upon further listening, it is my opinion that they are all hyper focused on race.
