Refreshing and Enjoyable

I read through some of the comments about sound quality and filler words and, yes, I agree that sometimes the audio quality isn't there and I am certainly in no position to comment on "ums" as I can use those more than anyone! But one of the great things about podcasts is the accessibility of creating them by anyone with a microphone, a computer, and a topic to talk about. But the content of the podcast is enjoyable and, as a fellow karateka, I really appreciate that they don't try to diminish the other martial arts. In fact, they occasionally refer to training themselves in other arts. The hosts come across as genuine and, although obviously knowledgeable, are also still open to learning and hearing differing opinions. That's not too common these days.Only complaint? More regularly released episodes! Keep up the great work!

A Fun Listen

I really enjoy listening to karate cafe, I like listening to martial artists talk about their experiences, especially since it is different from my own. I don't always get a chance to talk to people from other styles and systems, so this is perfect to get that experience. I don't always agree with everything, but it gets me thinking about martial arts, which is the purpose.

Osu!

Keep 'em coming guys! By far the biggest negative about this show is the infrequency of releases. Excellent martial arts conversation.

Pathetic at best

I have heard a lot of martial artist talk in my life, and this show is as narrow minded as most. So typical for them to think they know it all when no one has ever heard of them either.

Just sitting around having a chat (very good)

A roundtable format (with an occasional interview) discussing traditional martial arts. Not pretentious or ego laden but they are knowledgeable and a nice listen! Reminds me of the discussions after a long work out as we sit around having a beer. Good job guys!
