Hugo award winning podcast
As a woman who has found herself entrenched in male dominated fields and interests most my life, it is delightfully refreshing to come across such truly hilarious and nerdy ladies making similar observations to some of my own as well as teaching me a host of other perspectives and introspections. I, too, had not considered the size of my ankles for a woman who happens to be good at math. I was mistakenly under the assumption that they were mere functional joints that connected my feet to my legs. What a foolish woman I was!
In all seriousness, I have found myself laughing out loud on my way to and from work on multiple occasions, I've downloaded books after listening to some of their reviews and impressions, and I've thought about biases that I may or may not have ever considered before. It's a joy to listen to on many levels.
Also, I'd like to say that while I agree that The Courtship of Princess Leia is in fact LOTR, they missed perhaps the most obvious parallel - Isolder sounds suspiciously similar to Isildur 🤔🤔
