Refreshing

Real , unpretentious, and honest. This show is everything we are missing from the other overly structured and commercial sounding pods. Sam gives us a live performance every time. He is so brave. And so are his guest. I take something away every show. No auto tune needed for this show. It’s authentically talented.

Great Guests, Great Interviews, Great Guy

How To Human has the best guests. Sam himself has a way with a word and he's open sometimes to the point of leading with his worst fault and difficulties in life. That vulnerability, hard work prepping, and some really insightful questions reveal the brilliance of his guests and invites them to reveal their own vulnerabilities and struggles.

Every episode is a religious experience

I often find myself in a trance after an episode of How to Human. This is the spiritual education I wanted when forced to church growing up. The one my pastor was supposed to be conv ting to me but modern life has them messing up the message. It’s the spiritual education we all need, likely are all searching for and haven’t found for whatever reason. Well, your search is over. Just click randomly and power through. It’s going to be a wild ride of love, affirmations, fear, failure, success, and how to be the best version of yourself.

Part of my self-care routine

This podcast. I’m so grateful for this show. The vulnerability, the genuine connections, the humor, the sad bits, the beauty. I’m a complete fan. I have severe mental illness and this podcast has been a bright light on some really dark days. The wisdom shared between Sam and his guests is so wonderful and they always keep it relatable. Sam creates a space that ushers in truth and connection. I’m so grateful to get a seat at the table and hear these awesome conversations. Please, give it a listen. It’s honestly so beautiful. Thanks to Sam and his team for this sacred work of shared wisdom and deep connection. Keep up the good work.

so good.

It blows my mind how beautiful this podcast is. I wouldn’t really consider myself a big podcast person in general—I sometimes struggle to comprehend auditory things. But eventually, I had seen so many people who I look up to recommending this, and knew I had to give it a shot. I don’t think anyone could regret listening to this. It’s taught me so much, and it is SO real. Life is hard, and no one on this podcast ever tries to shy away from that fact! It’s honest, vulnerable, and completely raw, and I think everyone can better themselves by listening to this.

How to Human with Sam Lamott: Dare to Roar

Typically I get bored after listening to multiple episodes in a podcast series, but that is definitely not the case with How to Human. In fact it’s quite the opposite!! Sam not only finds the most amazing guests, but he also shares more of his story through their fascinating conversations. While listening to this episode, so many things about my past made sense, and I finally had a vision of what I need to do to move forward. Roaring at the top of a mountain never sounded so good!!

How to Human, Sam Lamott

I really like this show. Sam is very open to new ideas and feelings from himself, guests, and his listeners. He's down to earth and not afraid to be "vulnerable". He's not a know it all. Can't remember all the shows, but a recent good one was Scott Stabile. My least favorite was Byron Katie. Keep up the good work Sam, thanks for the gift!

So glad i'm seeking and so glad I just found Sam

I am early to listening, but I want to put this review here not just because it's all I can "pay" for now, but I wholeheartedly think he deserves a high rating for his bearing of soul, his guest list, his questions, and his creativity btw. For one guest, Jack Kornfield, who I love to hear speak and have listened to a handful of various onlines places, I found that Sam's questions and the complete space he gives, made Kornfield's presentation of wisdom so helpful and resonating for me here in this platform of his. Thanks Sam Lamott!
