Knives out episode

Crystal don't know where else to make a comment since I don't do social media. I do enjoy your podcast and came to you from The Civil Gore dudes. If you want to see a good "horror adjacent" film starring Lin Shaye (myself, Brian and Tim are big fans of this older actress.), then check out ROOM FOR RENT. Having heard your approach to horror and mental health and so on, I think you will enjoy this psychological thriller. Even more so, I would be interested in what you think about it.

Love it

New listener, and after listening to the Halloween H20 episode, I ended up listening to 3 more. I really like the structure of this podcast. Its fun to listen to and I also get some insight on things I didn't notice with certain movies that Crystal points out.

Fun horror show

Crystal (and sometimes Roxy!) put together a very casual and breezy show based on reviewing horror flicks both old and new. It’s easy to listen to, has good quality, and is definitely recommended. And that’s just my honest and horrific opinion!

The Best!

MAYBE Im a little biased because this is one of my best friends but that doesn't change the fact that I could (and have been) listening to Crystal talk horror movies all day. Partially because I'm too chicken tp watch these myself and partially because I love hearing Crystal's take on them. 10/10 would recommend, subscribe to this podcast!

Fun and refreshing

I really enjoy listening to this Podcast. It’s fun to hear Crystal share her love of the horror genre, and refreshing to see someone take the time to talk about films that are often overlooked by other horror podcasts. I’m looking forward to seeing which films she decides to talk about in the future.

Howling for Horror Nights In

There are a LOT of horror podcasts out there, and while many are good, there are way more bad ones.Horror Nights In is definitely one of the better ones, in my horrific opinion (see what I did there?). I look forward to listening every week. While most horror pods (like my own - haha) rely on multiple co-hosts riffing off each other, Crystal deftly pulls off a fun, engaging, informative, unpretentious, and often funny podcast - all by herself. She occasionally has co-hosts, but for the most part, it’s a one-woman show. She knows a lot about horror movies, but isn’t shy about admitting when she doesn’t know something - which is refreshing. Lots of podcasts just fake their way through it, but Crystal keeps herself down-to-earth. She also shares personal experiences, which further adds to her authenticity. The general format is that she reviews a different movie (sometimes two) every week - walking through the plot/characters and offering her take. She puts a unique twist on it by often sticking with a particular theme across multiple episodes. It’s a really fun show. Check it out!
