Where has this podcast been all my life?
I recently reconnected with God, and as an avid podcaster I knew I wanted to find a few workday/commute podcasts to keep me connected. I actually first discovered Work & Play with Nancy Ray, and I let the podcast algorithm recommend podcasts similar to her style, and after pouring through, and sampling dozens of podcasts I knew within the first few moments of this podcast that this would be the one. These girls feel like my best friends, my big sisters, and at times my reflection in the mirror. These ladies are so relatable, yet respectable. Real, yet motivating and inspiring. I love that they discuss real topics, bring in amazing guests and they tie in scripture and the word of God in each and every episode. I have been trying to force myself to savor each episode versus bringing right through it, but it’s impossible! It’s just too good. At this point I’ve shared the podcast link with anyone who will bat an eye at me because I truly feel like every single woman could benefit from listening to this podcast! Anyways, thanks for answering the call to inspire and motivate women. I love it because I’m also engaged, and in HR so I feel like I truly can relate to these girls on multiple levels. I’ve struggled with all the things they’ve talked about; eating disorders, feeling lost, and finding God. My favorite lesson was to see rest days as less days. I don’t have the problem of overworking myself, I have the problem of underworking myself. That inspired me to just do less on days I’m not feeling it instead of calling it a total loss. So genius. Thanks for all you do ladies! Also, try not to judge me for the Apple ID I came up with in middle school. Love, Haley B. ❤️
