Thank You So Much

I just started listening to this podcast today. I love it so far. The episode titled “The Best Way to Heal from a Toxic Relationship” really helped me. As I continue to learn and grow this podcast gave me hope that everything will be okay in the end. Everything you guys said in that episode really hit home. As a 22 year old it makes me feel less alone. Thank you so much and keep doing great things.

I love y’all! But I have a suggestion

this podcast helped me through a lot and expanded my thinking in so many ways! I’ve taken the tools and resources you two have provided and it has really changed my life and for that I’m am so appreciative! I am only writing this because I know you two read the reviews and I think this is a valuable point that (should) be taken into consideration for the growth of you two’s amazing show. One thing I observed is that this podcast is very centered around Terri and her life, which I love because her story resonates with me. However, with the podcast being very centered around Terri’s story, her willingness to share seems unbalanced with the lack of transparency on Dom’s part. I think this may be (I could be wrong) in part because of her Psychology background where in her profession she usually facilitates the healing and probably listens and gives feedback. But I feel like we don’t really know Dom and when questions are asked of her it feels like she tries to redirect the attention to someone else or doesn’t answer from a vulnerable place. I love Dom’s feedback and the her professional opinion is very useful in the show- almost gives validity to listeners so please don’t take offense! I just want to hear more of Dom’s story- not to be nosy but to understand what she has been through in her life, understand where her perspective comes from and create balance in the show.

I love it✨

I’m so happy that I’ve found this podcast! I’m always looking for a good word from other Black women. I have a podcast as well, and found them through other podcast “you may like” and saved it! Once I had a chance to listen I found myself saying “Yes, Yes, YES!” Everything they were saying was sooo relatable. ESPECIALLY the episode about relaxing! It’s such a struggle to have anxiety, do the things you love and be able to FULLY enjoy them, my mind just doesn’t stop going most times. I really appreciate these two ladies creating this podcast and doing it with transparency, sincerity and grace. Keep going ladies ✨

Sis is me

I randomly selected an episode while searching for a new podcast and ran across the episode related to introverts living in an extrovert world....SIS IS ME!!! It hit home on so many levels and it was nice to know that there are other people that feel the same. I listened to a few more episodes and this is definitely one I have subscribed to.

Exactly What I Was Looking For

I recently became brave enough to seek help for depression, which I had been going through for a while. Life hit me hard...bad breakup, single mother, huge family but yet feeling alone, financially unstable, not satisfied with my career...the list goes on. Realizing how important it is to read, see, and hear positivity, especially when you are going through stuff, I searched for a podcast that could potentially lift my spirits, educate, and help uplift me. I found HER space and though I am only on the last episode of the first season, I don’t want to be without it! It’s my morning radio talk show, my lunchtime WOOSAH, as well as my goodnight wind down. I am definitely looking forward to finishing the series, utilizing all the resources, tips, tools, quotes, worksheets, etc. what a way to make an impact ladies❤️

Intro and Exit is repetitive and long

Love love love this show. The intro and exit is way too long. I really wish this was replaced with more content!

You are welcome in HERspace!

I’m 2 episodes in and I can most definitely relate to the topics posed. I love how these women articulate their thoughts/experiences, share advice/tips, & incorporate teaching and wisdom into the conversation very fluidly. It’s welcoming, & celebratory of who we are as women! Great podcast!
