What drives people to change, to heal, to reinvent themselves? How do we reclaim our health, bounce back from heartbreak, flip the script? On goopfellas, two friends who have become familiar with unlikely personal transformations have raw conversations with people who have experienced profound shifts in perspective and well-being. Together, functional medicine practitioner Will Cole, DC, and chef Seamus Mullen get at the catalysts that bring people out of their dark night and into their purpose. Each of their goopfellas guests—from athletes to actors to authors—is different. As are the hosts: Mullen himself almost died from rheumatoid arthritis, and Cole’s day job is helping people uncover and overturn the roots of dis-ease. But you’ll likely see pieces of yourself in all their conversations, reflected in every one of their challenges. And we hope, from the lessons they learned along the way, you’ll find something you need to bring about a change, big or small, in your own life.

Fun...tastic!

Really a nice and refreshing podcast! I love to have the opportunity of listening also to what men have to say about issues that sometimes are considered more “feminine/women oriented”. I’m having a lot of fun and I found them very informative. Thanks so much!

Well worth the time to listen

I’ve been listening to this podcast for a few months now, and I think I have listened to every podcast available. I really enjoy the content, the focus on things that matter most, and their willingness to talk about topics that most people Shun away from.

Not good

Mostly boring and unprofessional (90% of podcasts are poorly recorded phone interviews).

Incredible

The Kelly Rutherford interview was incredible. Incredibly devastating and deeply painful to listen to. She is a model of strength and she is enlightened from her horrific experience. As a parent of young children, I am grateful she shared her learnings about love, physical separation and all things true about children, energy and the unbreakable bond between a mother and her children.

Descriptive words instead of expletives

I enjoyed the content of this interview, but I feel Mr. Stipe and the interviewers lessened the impact of their message by continually using expletives instead of intelligent descriptive words.

Kurt Yaeger

Hi guys, I just found your podcast & was so inspired by your authenticity & vulnerability. It is about time we hear men being open & raw showing their emotions. Kurt’s story was remarkable & in this day to hear how humble & vivacious he is was something not so common. Most become victims & stay that way. I will continue to listen to you guys. We need more men like you for strong healthy women who can’t find their match & role models to crush the old norm of men don’t show their emotions.Thank you, Mary

Will Cole has a good outlook

I am a surgeon and found this podcast commuting to work in my wife's car! I am an avid listener of Peter Atila and John Limansky, MD along with Tim Ferris. If you like those types of podcasts this is a great listen as well!
