Abby

You do a disservice to Abby by constantly saying good job. Everything is not a good job. When she actually does something good. Then it should be acknowledged. You you also should not let her get away with saying no. It’s just. Disrespectful. It’s also. Dangerous! What if she were to run out in the street, she think she can say no. You would not allow Isiah to say no. And how do you know if your child is right or left handed at 14??? It’s like you have justThrown her to school every day and no interaction after except needed. Please teach her manners too. These are basics. Shoveling food, stealing. She Absolutely knows what you’re saying! Stop saying she’s non verbal. She totally speaks when she wants. Do you get more disability if she’s non verbal? Your raising a brat. Please for everyone sake, quit allowing her to get away with things. Going to regret it when she’s older. I’ve noticed many comments like mine until Priscilla deletes them. Step back and think about it. You’re too close to be objective. I feel sorry for Isiah as he will be the one to have to deal with a grown spoiled adult.

Thank you!

Thank you for sharing your family with all of us! I don’t have anyone in my life with any real disabilities, but for some reason God has sent your vlog into my path. I’m sure somewhere down the road I will see His hand in it. I’m not one to hunt and look for vlog/blogs to follow and there is only a small handful of ones that I do. I feel that my eyes and heart have been opened in a new way. When we are out and see or hear that individual that is a little different than us to just smile and look them in the eye. And this I’ve learned from you. But do have a question, when young children point these people out should we hush the child or how do you think it would be best to address it? I’m taking kids under 8 or so.

Genuine

I stumbled across Fathering Autism on my Facebook newsfeed back in February of this year (2019.) It interested me due to me having a job as a CLS provider for a little boy with autism. I had no clue about autism until then. I ended up working with him for 3 years until I moved out of state. In those 3 years he taught me more about life than I could ever teach him! Him and his mom became second family to me and we still keep in touch today! I essentially provided care for him while his mother worked from home and also respite when she needed time to herself. Anyways I now watch your families vlogs daily! I love y’alls passion for advocacy with autism. Asa is a great speaker, Priscilla has the most caring heart and always has me cracking up, Isaiah’s personality is ahhhmazing! Y’all have done a fabulous job raising both Isaiah and Abigail! And for Abigail she is the sweetest and most sassiest girl. Watching yall’s vlogs inspire me to want to better myself and push for goals I’d never dream of doing. Y’alls vlogs let me know that everyone has their own “issues” you just got to go on and not let that issue make your day turn into a bad one. I now listen to yall’s podcasts when I’m driving or cleaning. Y’all keep being real! That’s why y’all have the number of followers you do! I’m so excited for future podcasts! #MaassSqaudForLife 💟

Asa and Priscilla, you don’t understand the amount you and your family has helped me. I struggle with depression and anxiety every day. But I know I can listen to you guys and understand I’m not the only one going through anything. Thank you for everything you have done for me. Thank you sooo much! I love you guys so so much. Stay blessed! 💕💕💕
