Kink

I like this podcast. I do. But it really seems like you shame away from any mention of kink or similar topics. The only mention you had of it was when you talked about spankings and that was very much a “oh they got spanked as a kid so it’s tainted and bad”. I’m curious why this general topic is never brought up when it comes to the many “fantasy” episodes you’ve had.

Great for a part of relationships very few other podcasts discuss

Love this podcast. Happy to add “tools to my toolbox” as my parents had a horrible marriage and am terrified to follow in their footsteps. Obviously directed towards older married couples but have been able to translate thus far. Slightly discouraging that when their have been topics or questions from unmarried couples they have laughingly said to leave, kind of devaluing unmarried couples problems...but for their intended audience it’s a 10/10!

This Podcast Nails It!

Hosts are great - balanced female and male perspective. Wide arrange of topics that I’m sure both men and women can relate to - I’m glad I found this podcast

She is awesome!

I was honestly thrilled to find a sex therapy podcast - we are struggling and it's an anonymous way to get helpful suggestions. I feel like this podcast has some great information and material and I love her style, she is knowledgeable and has a great deal to offer. I've listened to 4 episodes in the last 24 hours but I cannot listen any more. While she has great insight and I feel is fair and honest at weighing in equally on behalf of both males and females, her male co-host has made some thoroughly cringe worthy comments. I know that his opinions do not mirror the opinions of all men but I guess they mirror the opinions of enough of them that he leaves me feeling a little hopeless. I just tried to start a 5th episode but at this point, just the sound of his voice makes my skin crawl. Keep up the great work Laurie, this is much needed content. I'll purchase your books and follow your blog but I've had my fill of Adam.

My favorite

I’ve been listening for well over a year now and have to say this is my favorite podcast about sex/relationships (and I subscribe to a lot!). I love both Adam and Laurie’s personalities and the strengths they bring to the table. I love that they stay focused and informational in the podcast. I recommend this to all!

Down to earth and relatable

I’ve learned so many fun things from this show. Having a male and a female host means that topics are always discussed from both perspectives. The topics are relatable and real. The discussion and terms are respectful but informative. I love that the hosts often giggle and laugh a lot in acknowledgement that it can be difficult to discuss these things. I appreciate them being upfront about their focus being on monogamous male/female relationships without being judgmental of relationships that are not that.

Why is this so highly rated?

There is nothing here that you can’t find in a quick google search on whatever the topic of the show is. I hoped that these “professionals” would examine issues from a variety of perspectives based in research of some kind but there is isn’t a lot of depth here. The lady agrees with the man a lot without presenting other potential female points of view. The insight he offers on the male psyche is basically stereotypes with little nuance considered. I think a little debate would be healthy. There also isn’t much entertainment value... so again really confused about why people listen.🤷‍♀️

Eye Opener

I absolutely love this podcast. It's educational (as a mother to 2 young ladies...this is info I wish someone had told me 25 years ago) as well as entertaining. I appreciate the openness and honesty that this podcast brings to sexuality. As a woman who enjoys sex, it's great to learn from 2 other shameless women! Thanks April and Amy!
