Suicide discussion with Kay.

When I took this class, I never knew how much I would use the information I gained. I’m currently the lead crisis clinician for my agency and really enjoy my job. I remember being so scared at the thought of someone being suicidal and now I feel much more confident in my ability to help in any way I can. Thank you Dr. Bruce.

Theologically & Pastorally Helpful

I have really enjoyed this podcast. It is in very helpful, both in thinking through a variety of theological issues and imagining how those issues hit the ground in the local church.

Love it!

Loved both of these people in class during seminary and I love the extended education I can get afterward through this podcast!

Great podcast

As a pastor in rural America I miss the classroom and the academic challenge of Seminary. I have appreciated the topics and the food truck reviews. I wish they had those when I was at Western in the early 90’s. Thank you for investing in us out here on the frontlines.

Great podcast, some constructive criticism...

Love love love this podcast. The topics are great and the contributors to the discussion always do a fantastic job. The only little thing that could be fixed is Patrick’s “yeah” & “right”. Its distracting when there’s a constant “yeah” & “right” being said as the other person is talking.

Great content, poor audio.

Love the podcast and the discussion. But it’s really hard to hear the hosts, especially in the car. Can we perhaps adopt a more consistent volume and stop trailing in and out?

Thought provoking and practical

I have loved each episode of the podcast!! I listen once each one is released. As a native Portlander, I appreciate the Biblical truth being applied to my context - by people that also live here. Only feedback would be that Todd Miles could be closer to the mic sometimes- I often have to play DJ with the volume so I can hear him. Thank you for equipping the saints to honor Christ in our daily lives.

Delightfully relevant

Insightful, entertaining, and highly relevant for thinking theologically about today’s hot topics. Loved the “menu” (see what I did there) of topics covered that typically haven’t been addressed from the pulpit. Will definitely be following Food Trucks in Babylon!

Applying Biblical Theology To Contemporary Issues

Great podcast! This is a biblical, thoughtful, and relevant podcast that’s much appreciated as we seek to live faithful to the gospel in a post-Christian culture. As a Western grad myself I can attest to the wisdom and character of the hosts. Thanks Western!

Engaging a Post-Christian Context

Very glad to see this new show venturing into the podcast universe! The hosts, Todd and Patrick, even as seminary profs, are nuanced, whimsical and deft in their conversation. The fact that they come right out of the gate talking about marijuana is telling for how this podcast will engage a post-Christian context with theology and thought. Can’t wait for the next episode!
