Great topics but need a more lay viewpoints
I often enjoy the show. On your most recent episode, your segment “good use of polling or bad use of polling” revealed major flaw in your show. As experts in politics and part of the media naturally you answer this question from that viewpoint. I disagree with all three panelists and think this is a good use of polling. What Biden is trying to do is re-frame bipartisanship. He is trying to reframe unity. Finding common ground in our communities and as a nation of people, is more important and should be the ultimate goal, versus trying to unite politicians in Washington (who are likely entrenched in their views and habits). For numerous reasons, our politicians are not beholden to their constituents, rather constituencies are beholding to the representatives. Y’all are wrong in your claim that Biden lied about unity in his inaugural address. What a cynical view! I believe he is attempting to reframe political discourse in a more productive, grassroots way that returns more power to the voters.
