Excellent Podcast

I just discovered this podcast while searching for FI related shows. Started off with EP17 - “It’s Not About the Money w/ Brent Kessell.” Needless to say, I’m hooked. Influential and inspiring. Subscribed, and will be digging through the archives for more. Thanks!

Addicted to this podcast

Fantastic. I’ve just started listening and have been on a binge! I especially liked the James Clear episode. Now I have to get his book-Atomic habits. I also need to read Financial freedom book. This is not your average FIRE podcast. There’s so much more. I love the interview format along with Grants insights. Thank you and please keep more of this coming.

Morning commute

I truly enjoy listening to Grant and his guests during my morning commute into Dallas. It’s about a 50 minute drive and this podcast is what I enjoy to get my day started. I especially enjoyed the episode with Grants dad.

Excellent content, could improve “planned responses”

Hey Grant,Love the content, guests and when your personality shines through! It does feel like when guests answer your ?’s you don’t acknowledge what they say fully, every time and “flow” & sometimes don’t “match energy” meaning they are excited and talk quickly and then you talk slowly and in a low tone...which can dampen the flow. I would love to see you go off script and try to be more in a flow with your guests by truly responding to what they say as opposed to just asking your next question. The most recent podcast with Cody was a good example and I feel like you two are vibing and would like to watch a video podcast.Sometimes I feel like Cody is being a little too official in his questions and would like to see him be more natural as a conversation opposed to a formal interview...I want to wrap up this review by saying that I am truly truly appreciative Of your book, which is changing my life! I don’t want to set my alarm in the morning anymore. HahahaI will be listening to every podcast & can’t wait to see what you do next to help people facing unique problems in getting ahead— I do think that maybe you can have a coaching app/business where you train other coaches to help people overcome these unique challenges and build a community around it because I believe you have what it takes to truly connect, soul to soul, with everyone in the room, & help people succeed and I feel it gives you joy and could be your true calling! Thanks for Everything Grant!Warm Regards from Bangkok,Jonah

Great future ahead

Started listening to your podcast a couple weeks back after reading numerous personal finance books and just finished episode 10; very great content even outside the scope of finance. Can’t wait to grab a copy of the book and get on the right path to financial freedom. Thanks a lot grant!

Relevant and on point!

Just finished listening to Grant’s podcast and his expertise in the space was really defined. How? By his dad’s insights about money from his childhood and how those principles shaped his financial thought from the age of 5 until today. Why do I trust Grant’s blog and writing? Because its a part of him that started a long time ago.

Fresh perspective

Amongst all of the personal finance content out there, Grants perspective always makes me think a little differently. He’s done it all from side hustles, investing, and a successful career.

On point!

Thank you Grant for sharing your father's views with us. On point with doing side hustles early on and balancing money as a tool for personal satisfaction! Please thank your father for me!
