I have listened to a lot of this and really do not like when people that are not Doctors, talk about it. Maybe it is just me but I think if you want to talk about the science of fasting you have to be a Doc, but maybe that is just me.

Question on sleep

Great podcast, look forward to Tuesday mornings for that extra boost for fasting. Have a question about sleep. On days I fast, it is more difficult for me to fall asleep than on days that I eat. I’m not sitting in bed thinking about how hungry I am or anything, just unable to fall asleep. I’m not sure if it’s due to an increase in adrenaline or anything, just curious if others have this issue or what the science says about it.

I started with Episde 25, the latest episode. It happened to be on ADF. It was a reallyyyyy bad episode lol. They didn’t sound informed- like perhaps they haven’t read any studies or done any real research on ADF. A disappointing introduction to the podcasts. I have done ADF as well as daily eating windows, and to present daily windows as if it is superior is just misinformation, especially for new fasters. YIKES. One of the guys even said “I wish I had more time to do the research”, like what ?!? How do you not have time to be informed about what you are doing a podcast on ???

Easy listening with actionable steps.

I love the way that fasting is explained, including medical and anecdotal information. Episodes are wrapped up with actionable steps as they describe in their intro. I have been working my way through all the episodes and have found insights to take away from each one so far. Thank you!

Great stuff, guys. Do you guys pay attention to macros at all? Many fasters are nuts about keto. You guys mention whole foods but not macros. Do you just feel more hungry if you also eat carbs while feeding?Also, how did you lose 50 lbs in 50 days? Multiple 5 day fasts? Would like to know the deets, not that I would do it.
