It’s like listening to friends

I just found podcasts this year. Lol.I found the Ravenscrafts on their Twilight book podcasts. Very enjoyable as I loved going through the series again (my favorite books) and hearing their opinions. Then I listened to their HungerGames podcast which was also enjoyable. It’s like rereading the book, but at a book club in which friends discuss things and themes happening in the book. They are very real and personable. So I am enjoying their Family from the Heart podcast as well. I listen to them when I’m driving. My only complaint is that sometimes Cliff (who has a great radio voice btw) will tell on an episode what he told on his previous episode, not just a quick re-cap, but a re-telling. And I would like for him to trust that they have listeners who are actually listening to each episode in order who don’t need such a detailed re-telling. Cliff and Stephanie together are great! Makes me wish that I had time to learn how to podcast with a friend, too. It seems fun!

Miss their older episodes

The older episodes are much better. Lately Cliff and Stephanie mostly talk about movies they've seen. I miss hearing episodes surrounding their family, parenting, and marriage. I respect Stephanie as a person and mother but she is so nasty to her husband, holy cow. Much prefer her old podcast, Full Time Mom. I love Cliff, he has a very soothing voice and is quite witty.

I love Cliff!

Cliff and Stephanie are my biggest inspirations in life. I look up to them. Anything I do I think to myself, "would Cliff do this?" Their podcasts are top notch and they make me happy!

Couldn’t take one more minute. ugh

The woman on this podcast is rude to the man. Did you hear her insults? She wanted to talk about herself. I dint like this at all. what exactly were we supposed to learn here?

Curiously Engaging

I don't recall why I began to listen to this couple, but I like them. The wife is equally witty and infuriating(chronic exhaustion?). The husband is enthusiastic and has a very pleasant voice (the sound of which he can't resist). These remarks aren't meant to be snide. I very much enjoy their relationship.

Alright

I was really enjoying the podcast but Cliff is rather annoying to listen to. He is constantly looking for praise and sounds rather selfish. Also how he refers to homosexuality as such a taboo thing is insulting. Hoping not all the episodes are like this. More about Stephanie and the kids would be better!

I Usually Listen Live Each Week

Cliff and Stephanie simply tell it like it is for them as a family. I'm not sure what some reviewers here were hoping to hear, but what I get from the show is a couple that's comfortable enough with their relationship to talk about the trials and tribulations, and tragedies and triumphs of their daily lives as a husband, wife and family. I really enjoy the show and I'm gonna keep on listening!

Fun and Inviting and REAL!

This show is so real and I love listening to it. They compliment each other very much as they talk about various topics in their life. I love listening to when they review movies and cute stories from their youngest child. I also enjoy hearing about their oldest daughter, while thinking "it's only going to get worse!" (haha, high school will be fun!). While Cliff's values are sometimes odd to me, I understand that he is trying to work on it and you can hear his trying progress throughout the episodes to be more involved with his family. I'm also often confused how they cannot afford to buy their daughter makeup for her dance but the same/next week, they purchase iPad minis. I think this a great family and the progress through this show is amazing between their family and relationships.

Love Sharing in Their Life Journey

My wife and I recently started our own podocast (thanks to Cliff) and we greatly enjoy listening to Family From the Heart. Stephanie and Cliff compliment each other well and it's interesting and uplifting to hear about the things going on in their lives. We greatly recommend this podcast.

Refreshed

Thanks for being real. It's nice to hear that my family isn't the only one that's imperfect. :)

Good Family Podcast

I see that some people don't care for Stephanie. They must not get sarcasm. Stephanie is quite sarcastic, that's what I like about her. I guess if you don't like or get sarcasm then this isn't a good podcast for you. Otherwise Cliff and Stephanie talk about all sorts of family stuff - raising 3 young children to be productive adults and trying to keep a healthy marriage. Although they are Christian, it is not overwhelming or pushy. They give their honest opinions, sometimes I don't agree, but what fun is life if everyone thinks the same. They'll often review books and movies or have an interview to break things up.
