I’ve always found Eddie Hearn a great listen. Caught him again on BBC 5 Live Fighting Talk. Respect is due for him taking part whilst recovering from Covid-19. Heard about the podcast and have just listened to his chat with Virgil van Dijk. Definitely a podcast to subscribe to even if you have no interest in sport.
Great idea for a pod... great themes... problem is that unfortunately Eddie Hearn isn’t a great interviewer (coz primarily he’s a promoter and so used to talking)... takes about 5 sentences to ask a question. Frequently interprets guests... I’m here to listen to the guest not the interviewer...
I have enjoyed all the podcasts, even the one’s where l either didn’t know the person being interviewed or didn’t think l would find them interesting. The relaxed interview style and the types of questions you ask make the interviews fresh and exciting. And the AJ podcast was brilliant, a humble guy who is a a true inspiration to many and a true Champion both in and out of the ring
I’m not going to lie I wasn’t expecting much as I wasn’t sure how Eddie would be with interviewing people but these are great, think he’s doing well. I hope there’s more to come from him, had some good people on, a real mixture of characters but he’s adapted to all in different ways. Thanks for the content Eddie 👌🏼
Eddie is a great talker and dedicated to being flash and earning the cash. The way he uses his words is a copyright of his dad who is the original Hearn general. I love his passion and enthusiasm and take motivation from his success to date. Keep going Eddie, great guests, great interviews and the main man in the hot seat 🥊🥊🥊
As a sports fan from Michigan, was excited to see a new podcast from Eddie Hearn. Turns out that this is an excellent podcast. Wonderful guests, great questions, and overall a great job! The Wayne Rooney interview was absolutely top notch! Thanks for the hard work!
Quality stuff from everybody’s fav panto villain. FTB Edward - always enjoyed ur ability to sell ‘apples & pears’ & the whole Bishop of Banterbury bit pushed me to plan my own (return the rating MATE 😂)Quality as always. Al
Love Eddie to bits, watch/listen to all his interviews and have huge admiration for what he’s done for British and global boxing. I think he’s a little too used to being the other side of the mic; frequently interrupted Wayne and spoke about himself alot, most of which we all already know about him. I’m sure with more of these he’ll refine his approach. And of course i’ll continue listening to the whole series...
