Warriors coach Luisa Avaiki is trumpeting the significance of the inaugural women's NRL competition. The club has named a strong 22 player squad for next month's event, 18 of which have Kiwi Ferns experience. Avaiki says the competition won't just be great for the players involved, but for any woman wanting to get involved in Rugby League "It's an opportunity that our girls, not just our young girls but also our women, who come into the game, who want to play the game, who have been a part of the game for a long time can aspire to." The four-team competition starts next month. LISTEN TO LUISA AVAIKI TALK WITH D'ARCY AND GORAN ABOVE
