Reviews for Crazy Creepy Cool Movies – McCoyCast
Making Crazy Creepy Cool Movies very interesting
My yard stick for measuring how good a podcast about movies is based on how much I want to see a film once I'm done with the podcast. I recently went hip-deep in CCCM on a road trip to Yuma, AZ, and enjoyed the rather long and boring drive by listening to a bunch CCCM podcasts. Doug can make the mundane seem enthralling, he keeps my attention mile after mile, and helps time and distance pass in a safe yet quick manner. If you're looking for a podcast with a different slant on the not-so-mainstream films that have shown up on TV - give this one a listen. You won't be disappointed.

Fantastic podcast! I swear I sometimes feel like Doug and I are movie-fan doppelgangers! This show helps me remember all the reasons why I love my own childhood-era Crazy Creepy Cool Movies!
Reviewed on Apple PodcastsA great look back at a fun “genre"
Ahh, the Crazy Creepy Cool Movie. I don’t remember if we had a host dedicated to such things where I grew up, but my teenage years were spent with Dr. Paul Bearer on the weekends. They weren’t always the greatest movies, but there was something about them that entertained or enthralled. Doug McCoy does an excellent job of reviewing these fascinating pieces of cinema for us and giving us his memories of the films from that time. Even movies I haven’t seen come alive as Doug recounts them. Definitely worth checking out.

Although we were a thousand miles away at the time, Doug and I were watching the same movies at the same time. Years later, Doug looks back at those movies from the 70s and 80s that intrigued and disturbed us all. Sometimes they're creepy, sometimes they're creepy, sometimes they're cool, but they're all worth revisiting. If you're a fan of 70s/80s b-films, check out this podcast.

This is a good podcast devoted to those movies that you use to watch as a young kid sitting in front of the television. Doug does a great job in telling his memories on these crazy creepy cool flicks and does a very good job in making a smooth paced podcast that makes you want the next week to get here so you can listen to the next one. Highly Recommend
