Fraser interrupts guests constantly

He interrupted Professor Mary Beard so many times, she had to fight to get a word in. I really wanted to hear what she had to say, but Fraser interrupted her, talked over, interjected inanities, said "Russians" when he meant Romans, obviously knew very little about ancient Rome but wanted to dominate the convo anyway.... I won't subscribe to this podcast.

Brilliant

I can not recommend this series enough. Just listened to Jonathan Haidt podcast, who I had not heard of before. Excellent modern conversational philosophy discussing real time issues. Has inspired me to read more from Haidt. This series is a real gem..people given enough time to talk thoughtfully about proper things. So refreshing in the current climate of shouting opinion based noise. Well done Giles

It’s too short

Insightful discussions with interesting people

I've just listened to the Jonathan Haidt interview and it was good to hear an in-depth and unhurried exploration of his ideas. Giles Fraser managed to draw out so much information in a relatively short time. If I have one suggestion it would be for Mr Fraser to tone down the frequent guffawing, which comes over very loudly on earpieces. I look forward to catching up with the other episodes.

Superb new podcast

Big ideas, civilised discussion & personal insights that goes beyond the surface-level discussion of many podcasts. Highly recommended.
