    Confused Laughing at Self-deprecating Humor

Listening to Conan make a fool of himself has always given me great joy, but I particularly enjoy this podcast since it removes the visual reminder of his beady little eyes. Free of distractions, I find myself frequently laughing at him and his shenanigans. Smirking in bewilderment in response to the absurdly yet entertaining conversations between himself and his co-hosts, guests, (and sometimes with himself) has become such a common occurrence for me that I have had to refrain from listening to the podcast in public places out of fear of being perceived as a psychopath.I admire Conan for his passion for the art of comedy. With his unique and “far-out” sense of humor, I see why he tries so hard. His attempts at humor (though oftentimes more failed than not) are what I get a true kick out of. As I find myself pondering what ridiculously foolish thoughts will next be dispensed from his thin excuse of a mouth, I come to the realization that this tall and lanky Irish man relentlessly strives for the joy that comes from a good laugh, even if he is the only one not laughing. It is admirable.I’d recommend this podcast to everyone, but not everyone will find Conan funny. He’s not for everyone, but for me, he is like sweet potato pie. Some like it seasonally, some find it acceptable as an alternative to the mainstream pumpkin pie, and others have no interest in consuming sweet potatoes, regardless of the pie. I’ve actually never had sweet potato pie, and pumpkin pie has always been my go-to for thanksgiving. Nonetheless, we should all give sweet potato pie a try, even if we don’t expect to like it, or if we are comfortable with pumpkin. Sweet potato pie can be surprisingly worth it’s weight in potatoes... it is sweet, it is pie, and it is a good second option if there is no pumpkin pie. Since I have yet to find the pumpkin pie equivalent in podcast humor/entertainment, I will settle with this sweet potato pie.

    What happened??

It genuinely saddens me to give this Conan and this podcast 2 stars. Conan and cast had a truly 5 star production. Conan possesses a rare combination of silliness and intelligent whit. His conversation with people of all backgrounds is uplifting and engaging. And, of course, humorously entertaining. Heck, even his ads were fun to listen to. Conan was a place to go to to feel well. To feel happy and escape the world. He was one of the few that I felt “rose above” it all. Now, he’s been enveloped in and succumb to Hollywood pressure and fallen to the political gutters like everyone else. I will no longer be recommending this podcast to my friends and family and have renounced my humble subscription :(

    Fantastic Podcast

I’ve been a Conan fan for a long time and while I can’t always keep up with the TV show, I never miss an episode of the podcast. The interviews are always interesting and the banter before and after the show is hilarious. PS - With the holidays just around the corner, I’m hoping that they give out some recommendations on Christmas tree options. I hear Gourley is an expert on that.

    Hillary and Michelle 🤢🤮

Alright, this was great and then of course it gets political. Do celebrities not realize that those of us in the real world actually like Donald Trump.....Michelle is horrible as everything is racist in her book. But Hillary, really?! Even Bill doesn’t want anything to do with Hillary. And of course you would never have a conservative on the show 🙄

    Highly entertaining show

I love listening to Conan interact with his assistant Sona and producer Matt. I even find his ads so funny that I actually don’t skip ahead. He’s a brilliant interviewer that knows how to share enough of himself to bring out the guest, and every episode brings me smiles and laughs. The longer format interview is definitely a good fit for him.

Hillary Clinton in the side car

I love your podcasts! They get me out walking and are something to look forward to, especially during these times are in. I was laughing out loud with your podcast with Mrs Clinton. I wish you could have a show with her in the sidecar! I just love her and she is so funny. You together would be a hit for sure. Maybe you could make it an ongoing skit on your show!!! Keep up the great entertainment!

    Drawback- loud laughing

His assistant Sona laughs SO loudly in the interview part of the podcast. In my opinion, it is distracting and somewhat irritating. I hope they fix this issue because they’ll be losing listeners over this soon. Begin any interview done in Season 3 and listen for yourself.

    Great Podcast but...

This is my absolute favorite podcast. Conan's wit is unmatched! However, he should stick to entertaining and keep his political bias out of it. (Or give equally positive attention to both sides.) He has such a large platform and it’s a disservice to alienate half of his audience. Still 5 stars though!

    Unfortunate turn

Conan is the funniest/most clever/silliest late night comedian and until recently the only one that remained unpolitical. Too bad that changed.

    The Chill Chums

I Got turned on to this podcast last summer. Anytime I wanna hear voices, besides the ones in my head, I listen to Conan and the Chums. If you like funny, zany, off topic banter then this is the podcast for you. The guests range from silly and funny to informative and thought provoking. You need to like Conan’s silly, sarcastic, witty, and sometime stupid humor . Matt and Sona always try to keep Conan on the rails. I love this crazy show!!

    Conan O’Brien needs an editor

Would love to hear Willie Nelson tell a few of his stories. But, I guess it still works when Conan tells the stories.
