Great show but Armenia is landlocked and Conan mentioned Sona’s Armenian Pearls

How can you have Armenian pearls from a landlocked nation when pearls were famously obtained from deep sea diving before cultivation made them possible? Please issue a retraction, thanks

    What If…

Greetings Conan O’Brien and friends! Now that Conan has scores of new friends perhaps Conan could lend his powers companionship to bring people together who need a friend. I envision Conan as the old village matchmaker, bringing people together who are rather uncomfortable with the whole situation. Call it, Conan O’Brien Makes Other People Be Friends, who necessarily don’t want to be but we have them trapped in this room now so why not record it?” The title might need some work 🤷‍♂️. Really this is just a ploy to get Conan to interview Harrison Ford and Johnathan Frakes at the same time.

    In the Year 2000

In the year 2000 I was a teenager that loved the “In the Year 2000” skit. In 2022 I am a 36 year old that remembers one of these skits multiple times a week and laughs to myself like a crazy person. This podcast is my favorite and the only thing I could imagine making it better was if you revived this for the podcast. -From one pale, freckled red head to another.

    Dangerously funny

Conan on Conan, basically, directed at random guest

Don’t want to be a hater, but I agree with the other reviewers on here who pointed out that Conan has a tendency to talk at, rather than to, his guests. The Bowen Yang episode was indeed really frustrating and awkward to listen to for this reason. You can sort of track the moment when Bowen realizes that that the interview is really going to be all about Conan and politely shifts gears to accommodate this. Mind of a bummer because I was very curious to learn more about this guest and I feel like we barely learned anything. Rather than getting Bowen to open up, which he was clearly ready to do, Conan keeps cutting him short to turn the conversation back to himself or otherwise go on for an extended period of time about how he perceives Bowen, which truly makes up like 50% of the episode. There’s kind of a manic quality to it all, and I suspect Conan picked up this habit hosting late night for so long and thinks he needs to constantly steer the ship in these conversations, not realizing that his guests are normal adults with social skills and that a far more normal (outward-focused, relaxed, and inquisitive approach) would create much better long-form content. Anyway, hope he or someone else involved reads this because Conan is a funny person and the guests he’s able to book are too-tier. Just wishing it didn’t disappoint every time I try to give it a chance.

    My GF finds Conan hilarious

Hey Conan, you are the best! Please don’t stop making podcasts. I steal a lot of your jokes and tell them to my girlfriend, and she finds them hilarious. She thinks I’m making these jokes, however, and I don’t tell her these are really yours, sona’s and Gourley’s. So please don’t stop producing material. Or my relationship will suffer

    Please let the guest talk!

Just finished with the Bowen Yang episode. Please count the number of minutes that each talked. It was so lopsided on the Conan side. I was hoping to hear more about Bowen. Laughable when Conan kept saying how much he wanted to talk to (at?). Bowen. Consider this as a not so subtle aspect for Conan to work on. Love you guys! But seriously work on this!

    As advertised

Seamlessly blends with my current decor, very sturdy and well crafted. Materials used are at once traditional, yet whimsical. Stands the test of time, yet changes in the light. I always keep a few in my purse to give out at parties. Looking forward to many years of continued enjoyment with proper care.

Did your wax figure ever get put in that Boston museum?

Previously I had asked about the beach house and was very much surprised by the poor horse bit. Happy babies Matt and Sona! Matt, I love your podcasts as well!!

Could I love this show any more?

Conan and the Chill Chums bring the hilarity and fun that this world needs in spades. This podcast is one of the reasons I’ve remained reasonably ok during the pandemic. This show makes me happy, makes me laugh, and makes me bother my husband to listen to clips even when he’s in the middle of other things. Really look forward to hearing this every week.

    Pick a lane, O’Brien

Love you all, this podcast is sublime. And by all I mean Sona, Matt too, Conan I could take or leave. He’s always calling Sona and her family a bunch of vampires but also harasses her on the amount of garlic she eats. You can’t have it both ways man!

    History Podcast?

I love hearing Conan talk about history (listening to the Zach G. part 2 right now). If he ever gets bored in “retirement,” or his kids want him out of the house more, he should do a history podcast. It’d the cool to have him put several topics in a hat and then draw a topic that he’d talk about off the top of his head.

    Recent Editing is Poor

Great podcast. Recent editing has been poor though. Listen all the way through and you’ll hear the errors - people getting cut off, sections being repeated, etc. The Kieran Culkin episode issues are at the end. Doesn’t bother me but wanted to give you a heads-up.

    My favorite

I am now going back over all 200+ episodes because I’ve only started listening in the summer. So funny. So clever. Jim Gaffigan on his second visit wasn’t as good as the first. Kieran Culkin… amazing. Thank you for this great show that I look forward to every week.

    You Broke My Occam’s Razor

I was awoken this morning by the whimperings of a kitten that sounded like that of a monkey. As I sat up to check on the kitten, in my half-asleep stupor I said, “mail chimp?” You have made me a person who, when they hear a monkey, they think ‘mail chimp’.
