I just listened to your Dont Miss The Story episode and have some questions. There's no comments section hence why I'm here. Sorry. :)
SFOMO - this confused me as I was thinking in terms of career paths throughout your talk but then sfomo kind of made it seem like my career path needs to be in relation to spreading God's word otherwise it might not be spiritual enough and thus may not be considered a calling? I've realised prophets I've come across often like to prophesize on how the individual is destined to spread the gospel and thats always confounded me as I truly don't believe everybody's first and foremost dream for their lives is to spread the word.
How do you know when something is your calling? They say its the dream that never goes away. My visa expired overseas so I came home and entered a different industry. I feel like I've rolled with the punches quite well so now I'm unsure whether God is trying to push me into a new dream or should I put my focus back on the dream that hasnt yet gone away?
When you said 'I was going at this speed and now I'm going at this speed and watching other people pass me.' I had a fast incline that slowed way down - would appreciate your take on it if the same thing happened to you?
On a side note, I love the real life stories esp the one of being angry and missing out on a family memory in nyc - really resonated with me. But I felt I needed a more thorough step by step explanation connecting the moral of the story to the main message?
Thank you. :)
