Great Show, Guys!

I found you guys from listening to your interviews with Omar (SHAIR Pod) and Dave & Chris (Dopey Pod)...two of my faves due to their raw honesty, venerability, authenticity, humor, empathy, and hopefulness. I am so glad to have found C&OD! You guys seem to have all of those same qualities and I’m am enjoying all of the old and new episodes! I am also Christian who believes that ultimately Jesus just asks us all to love and show compassion for all people, all creeds, all abilities, and God’s kingdom. I feel like my open-minded Christian beliefs are in sync with yours. I love how you always include the perspectives of people with different faiths. God is love and loves us all. The fact that there are so many different ways that people serve and worship God shows me that there are so many ways to be close to God and one isn’t better or more right than another. We are so lucky to be in recovery because it’s so much about walking with God and allowing God and others to heal us as we serve others. Bravo, Jed, Jay, and friends! Keep sharing and being yourselves! God Bless!

BEST PODCAST OUT THERE

This is the best take on sobriety and God with such down to Earth realism. This cant be beat. Amazing perspective to help you strengthen your path of sobriety with a better connection to God. You HAVE to check it out.

Gets me thinking

I was raised catholic and then doubted all of it from like 12 till I got around some 12 step meetings. This podcast has got me thinking about my conception of a HP(baby) and they really got me going in my direction witch was better then where I was. This podcast helped my find my god. In a subtle way.

Excellent

As someone who has never had a substance abuse problem, I love this podcast because it gives me so much insight into what that experience is like. It helps me to relate and empathize better with people and know more how to support them. Super casual style *done well*.

Helps Me Feel Less Alone

This is the kind of podcast that doesn’t assert Christians into a strife for perfection. These dudes are normal dudes who’re serving an irregularly amazing God in their own sort of humanly, imperfect way. I enjoy listening to the jokes, as well as some of the deep discussions. I only discovered it because of the Silent Planet episode, but now I’m hooked! Glad to be part of the congregation!
