Smart and Funny

Really love Monica and Louisa - smart, funny, sardonic and great storytellers. Never afraid to bring up the other side of the story. I only wish they published their podcast more often.

Great

I’ve never saw this until Jan 2018. Why was it never mentioned on WBEZ?

One of my favorite podcasts

Every show is entertaining and evocative. Everyone should listen to it- or at least give it a try... Monica, Louisa, and Iris are all really fantastic!

Not as good as it could be

I really want to like this podcast more than I do, but cohost Monica Eng has become something of a zealot. Some of her anti-sugar tirades are so out there that I wonder if she's hamming it up for entertainment value, but then she seems so earnest that I think it must be real. Worse still is her intense hatred of fat. She makes really disparaging remarks about getting/being fat. It's just downright mean (and comes off as sort of self hating).

Chicago, yes please

Love this podcast! These two are hilarious and they also know how to make a great podcast. I love the segments and they provide some really good insights to the culinary world. Keep up the good work!

Wonderful

I really love this podcast and recommend to everyone who likes to cook or just eat. Lots of information and thorough research plus interesting interviews. It's also very professionally done- always a plus.
