Outstanding!!!
I found this Podcast recently and I am completely hooked. This has easily become my favorite Podcast! I am currently binging past episodes, trying to make them last but can’t-even though I know that I will soon be caught up to the current episode and have to wait for new ones each week!I’m a huge, Paul Holes fan and am now a fan of Kate Winkler Dawson, too. Together, they present a fantastic Podcast. The cases discussed are intriguing, with interesting backstories and history provided by Kate Winkler Dawson. Combined with the sharp minded assessments and insights into investigatory techniques shared by Paul Holes, Buried Bones is a real true crime gem.

Sorry no.
Paul often sounds like he’d rather be cutting his grass than sitting with this co-host. Their banter is forced and they need to just stop, it’s embarrassing.

Love, and…
Love this team-up, and Kate + her team do amazing research to make for interesting stories. My “and…” is that they both seem to lack a robust familiarity with systemic racism and the immense regularity of police misconduct with suspects + the false confessions that misconduct creates. (I use the word “robust” purposefully - I’m not implying that they’re racists or have ‘blue lives matter’ beliefs - just noticing that knowledge has not become second-nature.)

Listen to this!
The ultimate true crime podcast that you need to hear. Kate does a wonderful job presenting the case, and Paul follows up with a scientific and legal analysis. It feels like you are solving the case with them! It is entertaining, informative, and addicting! I always have a good laugh and learn something new from this podcast.

Yes
As someone else already said, Kate is an amazing story teller and having Paul’s expertise and analysis of these crimes is the cherry on top. Easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given!

No More 2 Parters!
It’s a tease. It’s a buzzkill. It’s ho-hum. I skip for a week and wait for both parts to be up…Seriously, I cannot remember my podcasts from week to week. It’s not a visual medium. Please, no more 2 Part episodes…

I love this show!!
This show is so great. Kate is a great storyteller; I love hearing stories I’ve never heard before; I love the on the spot analysis by Paul; and they have such great chemistry!

Great show, partnership & chemistry
Kate and Paul are a great combo and are very thorough in their respective investigative approaches. You can tell they love what they do. I kind of love how Kate sort of holds back info, then drop these little bombs on Paul, who is such a good sport. It’s so interesting to visit old crimes and hear what new approaches today might yield! Their upfront banter is cute, too :)

Favorite podcast
Easily my favorite podcast. It’s so well done and offers so much more than just a story - the forensics are informative and presented in a way that people can understand. As a criminal defense attorney crime podcasts are sometimes difficult when the forensics/court processes aren’t understood - not the case here. Always always a job done on research, story telling, and logistics of the criminal world.

Update: I’m very pleased with the format and the quality of this new show. I think the storytelling was thorough yet still fun and interesting and interspersed with the hows and whys of an investigation. Good job! I’m very excited to hear this new podcast by talented and dedicated hosts. Sep 14th can’t come fast enough!

Great show
I initially thought this podcast was going to be kind of boring (sorry Kate and Paul) but I actually really like it! The cases are really interesting and compelling and Kate does a fabulous job telling the story and teeing up specifics aspects of the case for Paul to weigh in on. Really professional and well done, I listen every week.

I love Kate and Paul!
Like many people I started listening to their podcast because of MFM. I’m always looking forward to hear what historical mystery Kate will bring to the table for Paul to analyze every week! My boyfriend listens when he’s with me, he loves the theme song because it reminds him of “goosebumps” haha

Weekly must listen!
This is one of my absolute favorite podcasts! Kate and Paul have an amazing rapport and build off each other’s expertise. It is clear that each episode is very well and accurately researched. I appreciate the presentation… walking through the beginning and solving the mystery as we go. It also pays respect and homage to victims past. Highly recommend!

Paul Holes is unique and analytical in his thinking. Kate Winkler-Dawson weaves a story like no other. Perfect. Love the History and Crime. Could also just listen to them in conversation about groceries for an hour.

Some inaccuracies cannot be overlooked
I love this podcast a whole lot, but Alexander Hamilton did not sign the Declaration of Independence. He did sign the constitution though.
