I'm already loving this!!!

Sex Hurt episode is amazing!!! I had this Issue a few years ago. I started having painful sex and mind fog/ depression. My relationship was also going down hill because I didnt want to have sex and I was in tears from the pain. After reading multiple books I found out It as my birth control. I talked to my boyfriend and he supported me while not taking it. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has had this problem

Excellent episode on painful sex

As a certified nurse midwife who specializes in treating pelvic pain, I am so glad to have this podcast to share with women. Excellent information on sexual side effects of the pill and pelvic floor PT! Great to see this info being shared in a new way. I look forward to checking out the other episodes.

The podcast I needed

This podcast is amazing. It articulates feelings that all women have about their health but rarely express. I just listened to all the episodes and hope that season 2 is coming! Thank you Allison!

Life changing

This podcast has been really empowering to listen to. Knowing that in general women are not heard from nearly as strongly in the medical community is infuriating and hearing that other women are dealing with these types of things and putting out this content for the world feels less lonely. Thank you!

Super worthwhile

Allison Behringer, the host of this podcast, definitely has a talent for podcasting. By examining one person’s challenge with their body in each episode, she makes complex problems real and accessible, helping to overcome the isolation that people with unusual problems usually endure. I really appreciate the vulnerability that comes through each episode, the honesty, as well as the knowledge I gain. I basically binge-listened to season one in about two days.

Finally

I wish all physicians would listen to this. I know they won’t. But they should. As someone married to a physician. And someone that wanted to be a physician until I got 2 autoimmune diseases. I wish the medical world would acknowledge and rework how it treats women. I have to have my husband with me in order to get Drs to listen to me. It seems impossible to find a Dr that will listen to me and not just dismiss what I am saying. This is a real problem.
