Rude Man

Wouldn't listen to one word he say after the rude, dismissive way he treated me in Boston.I believe he is financed by applications he makes to the Federal Government for one project after another. He was pulled over in Maine for driving under the influence and inquired of the police "Don't you know who I am?"

tired and old

If you like leftist blowhards that talk in a patronizing way this is for you. If you have trouble sleeping, maybe this will put you out. Everything he thinks he knows is wrong.

True treasure in American media

He should forego TV. Just audio longer. An hour a week.

Never has a guest who challenges his presuppositions!!

He only ever has guests who buy into one narrative, the one he holds. He could at the very least have a guest who would bring a different perspective from his own, and then challenge it; but he has opted for laziness.

Absoultly Worth the Listen

Has kept me going on my 2 hours a day of commuting. Having gone through his podcasts, I am now picking up on some of his guests, especially Chris Hedges. Nice to get out of the rabbit hole.

Be an informed American.

This podcast isn’t super produced like some of the big podcasts, but it hits really important issues like a true new report should. Everyone should know the issues discussed here.

WOW?

Who else but Bill will expose ALEC. You get my ear just for that. Don't get me wrong I'm the guy who will join ALEC "You don't mind me making a buck!." Bill makes these things which are unbelievable and happening under our noses available to us and puts them in a way that shows us a truer state of our Republic. The poor are screwed and have no tools, mind, unity or clue, except that they listen to this show, will they walk away ready to do something.

The Single Best

Moyers and Company is the single best way to delve deeply and intelligently into what lies beneath the country's present moral and economic quandary. If you want to know what's really happening -- if you want to know why -- then spend an hour each week with this podcast.

I enjoyed listening to Bill when broadcast at PBS.

I didn't realize he started to broadcast after leaving PBS. I still remember his last show at PBS. Listening to the guests is a way to refocus on the importance of politics in our daily lives - how it fails; how it succeeds. Highly recommended.

This is one to get!

This is a show that my conservative parents and their liberal son can agree upon. I can't say that the subject matter of Bill's show is normally happy but there is a hopefulness about how wonderful a country the USA still is and the bright future ahead of it. Of any podcast I receive this is the one that most fully explores the dangers of inequality in our economy, electoral system(s) and other aspects of American life. If knowledge is power, we certainly come away empowered every week from this show.
